Happy 5th adoptaversary to my roasted seaweed, corn, chips loving Aria 😻. She is an independent lady who does not take anyone's nonsense. She loves her adventure times, whether it is being on the beach or walking down the sidewalk.

She was so very quiet when we got her the night of November 30, 2015 and she was so tiny (she was underweight). But her personality shone through once she became comfortable with her surroundings and us. I am so very thankful that she is in our lives. I encourage everyone to adopt and not shop (buy from breeders).

Happy National Cat Day to these two cuties 😻. Aria is on the right, she's older, and Ansel is on the left. I am so lucky to have them in my life. They were both found on the street and I am so thankful that we have been able to give them a home.

Adopt ❤ and please don't shop (buy from breeders). There are millions of animals in U.S. shelters alone that need a home. If you can't adopt, you can foster, donate, or share the animals in need.

Happy International Cat Day to my two cuties, Aria (in the back) and Ansel (in the front) 🤗😸😻. They make life so much better and seeing their personalities is such a privilege for me to experience ❤. Aria is the more outgoing one, the boss, she loves her independence but she secretly loves to cuddle when sleeping. Ansel is so timid around others, but a playful kitten when he is at home, he loves to sleep right next to us and under the covers.

Wishing a very happy birthday to my beautiful sister, my seka (means sis in our language) 💛🍰🎂🎉. She is such a caring and kind human being and I just wish that others would appreciate that in her. It is strength to be able to show emotion and show that you care, it is not something that should be looked down upon. Yet in the world that we live in, people usually want to walk all over you if you display such characteristics. I am glad that even though you've had numerous instances of feeling this, you still have such a kind soul.

Thank you for always trying to stick up for what is right, even when it means walking away from a lot of people in your life. We haven't been the most fortunate when it comes to family and in some ways, friends, but I am glad that I have you. We have walked through life together and I cannot imagine wanting to have anyone else alongside me.

I always tell you how in awe I am of your poetry and the way in which you are able to express yourself with words (@papertrailedpetals). In the same way, when you dance , you know how to bring the song to life with the movement of your body. And when you sing, the emotions that you can display inspires me.

Through the different conversations that we've had in, I am so proud to see how you continue to grow and change whenever you are presented with new information. You always want to better yourself and learn more.

Happy (approximate) third birthday to my little baby Ansel 🎉🎂🍰. I do not even understand where the time has gone. He was (the vet assumed) 5 weeks old when he was found by where our mother works and the lovely @a.tiny.piece.of.the.existence brought him to us from there (since our mother was working at the time). He loves to bring us different toys in his mouth and meow while he is carrying them, his favorite being Aria's toy mouse and a cat dancer. He is just a talker over all and a cuddle baby who loves to sleep under the covers.

We are so fortunate to have him in our lives, love you lots Ansel.

Today, May 14, marked 7 years since Kaleb passed away. I, myself, cannot believe how much time has passed by. It seems like yesterday that my sister saw him and we got to meet him outside by a bench where we used to live. At first we thought he was a girl because he was so very beautiful. He would jump on the table where the benches were and hang out with us.

We tried to find him a home since we knew our parents would not allow us to bring him home, and at first we thought we had found him a home. About a year after that faithful meeting we saw him again, roaming around the same place and we had asked the people, who were though were his new family, why he wasn't with them? The guy had said that the girlfriend did not like him so he just threw him out.

From that day on, my sister and I made it our mission to get Kaleb to be our kitty. It took some time but we finally had done it when our parents had gone out for the night. We gave him a bath and put him by the fake fireplace to warm up on a cold autumn night. We couldn't have been happier that it had worked. Klara (our other kitty at the time) wasn't sure what to make of it though.

Even though we knew him for a short time, he left a big impact on our lives. He was the most photogenic cat and he would always look at the camera when we would take pictures. He loved his head kisses and anytime we came near he would bump us when we gave him a kiss. Whenever he would jump down he would make a chirping sound. He was such a fluffy kitty who didn't mind sitting down with us and basically eating anything he could get his fluffy white paws on.

Kayrarin, we love you and miss you so very much.

Tonight, at 10:32 PM🌈, marks 5 years years since our Klara passed away due to cancer. I remember when I would say to myself, and to her, "I cannot imagine living without you, I cannot imagine losing you." The feeling I would get when I thought about a life without her, it would hurt physically and mentally. It would overwhelm me just like the love I have for her still.

We always say that we should be glad to have shared memories and pictures, if we're fortunate enough, with those close to us, even those that might not be. I am fortunate that the memories are still here, even though I do have to ask my sister to remind me. I am grateful to have had her in my life because she had shown us love that cannot be described but felt.

She loved to go outside on the balcony and look at what the people were up to, as well as the animals. She would sleep on different stuffed animals, a bunny, a bear, and a kitty. She was a surprise in our life and one of the best 😸. When we would be on our laptops she loved to come and be by the fan because of the heat or put her head by the screen. Also, whenever someone would be taking a shower, she loved to be there and walk in between the curtain and just keep us company. We would draw the curtain and there she would be.

In the first place we live in the U.S., she would sit on the air conditioning and watch the squirrels when they came by. In the place before the one we live in now, she would sit on the sofa (since it was right by the terrace doors) and she would separate the curtains by herself and just watch whatever was happening.

I am grateful that she got to be in our lives. Klaro, volimo te puno ❤, nedostaješ nam. We love you so much Klaro and miss you so.
