HUGE shoutout to @wr8_bricks on this tip: increase my shutter speed so I can catch the dirt and debris in mid-air instead of it blurring. I believe it will improve my shots a lot.
>>>> @wr8_bricks .

Another shoutout to @jaredsminifigures for winning my Geo Commando at auction this past Friday, and being ok with late shipping so I can take some photos with it!! You’re the best 👊🏻

Hope y’all enjoy this one

“Burning General”

✨Yes. I did set him on fire✨
This Grievous figure is a commission. Hand painted and mostly practical effects. It was requested that he had a cape that looked burned (similar to the battlefront II skin, iykyk), so I decided why not get a real burned cape- on camera. I had quite the process on this, so there will be a separate post regarding that for those interested.

- @jaycustomfigures endured some of this process live bless him and thanks for the tips per usual
-Commissioned for: @forsaken_half_demon
-Damaged clone helmet sold to @k.ayala80

Admiral Yularen:
“Generals, I understand your concern. RC-0079 has been tasked with recovering Commander Cody and Captain Rex.”

Obi-Wan:
“He’s still in service?”

Yularen:
“Sparingly. His experience is considered too valuable for conventional operations. He is reserved for missions where failure is not an acceptable outcome.”

The doors slid open with a muted hiss.

Every eye in the command center turned.

The commando entered without a word. His scarred Katarn-class armor bore the weight of countless campaigns, the crimson markings faded beneath years of blaster fire and hard marches. A weathered kama brushed against his armor as he crossed the room with the quiet confidence of a soldier who no longer needed to prove himself.

He stopped before the holographic table.

“RC-0079, reporting.”

I tried something new: animating a LEGO photo.

This one started from the insane shot by @lil_britt_bricks , then I took it into Photoshop & After Effects, gave it motion, weight, smoke, light saber effect and breath. Pretty hyped with how it came out.

“Peace”

The pure snowflakes softly stuck to Jesse’s helmet. A helmet recognized by many troopers and many elite in the Republic. At the sight of that ARC Trooper’s armor many raised their head and straightened their posture in respect. Whatever clones had been born to do- he had done it well.

The cold silence as the snow fell contrasted the echoed past of blaster fire and shouts of pain.

Death, war, endless fighting had ceased and only peace remained.
