Sunday at Notting Hill Carnival with Mastermind Sound 🔥🇯🇲

My kickoff was 6–7pm and we started nice and easy with a little I Wayne – Satisfy… just warming them up. 😏

Then we went through the gears, building the vibes, and by the time we hit Dr. Dre, they were HYPED! 🔥🔥🔥

And just like that… my 2026 Notting Hill Carnival was officially rounded off. 🎶💃🏾

What a way to finish!

Same place? Same vibes? We’ll see… 😂

See you guys next year! ❤️

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending HELD.

The Weight of Excellence, hosted by Melissa Berry and Dr Agatha Nortley-Meshe.

A huge thank you to Nadia from @ohsoconnected for inviting me. ❤️

Honestly… what a powerful day.

A room full of incredible Black women, having honest conversations about the pressure we carry, the expectations we put on ourselves, and what that can cost us.

From Dr Agatha, Dr Azziz and Leanne Pero from Black Women Rising, to the keynote from Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, there were some incredibly powerful voices and conversations throughout the day.

The day moved through Body, Mind, Soul and Radiance, with health checks, panels, networking, food and Black-owned businesses.

But what really stayed with me was the reminder that we cannot keep putting ourselves last.

As someone who works in women’s health and wellbeing, that really resonated with me.

Sometimes we need to pause, breathe… and put the weight down.

I left feeling moved, inspired and very grateful to have been in that room. ❤️
