You guys!!!!!! My first book DECODEPENDENCE: A Romantic Tragicomic is now available for pre-order! [link in bio]

Decodependence details my relationship with codependency through a series of anecdotes about my childhood, teen years, and relationships. The book is a revealing portrait of codependency, love addiction, anxious attachment, and, depression through beautiful, highly considered artwork. My intention with this book was to delve into my own past in the hopes that others could see their experiences with codependency reflected in mine.

Been doing weird drawings lately that remind me of these cool gouache paintings I did in 2017. They were inspired by suminagashi ink prints. 24”x 36” sold unfortunately (huge regret) #painting #gouache #suminagashi by @lila.rules

In February I lost one of my first best friends, Conor. I know he’s out there now in a peaceful place like the one I drew for him. I’m so grateful that we got to share our childhood from day one and that I have so many beautiful memories with Conor. 🤍 @cindymcdowell34 by @lila.rules

If you’re in LA and you know or have a kid/teen who loves art and wants freedom to explore with the help of a pro, DM me! I will come to YOU for private/group art lessons!

Being encouraged to try new things and be experimental with art gave me confidence and self esteem as a kid. I’m here to help kids embrace their love for making art!

I also specialize in high school portfolio development for art school applications. Please spread the word! ❤️🎨
