Families be VOTING. If not for yourself, do it for underrepresented people who desperately need solidarity. If we do it unitedly, it works. Be safe out there and be particularly kind to your mind & spirit today. Much love. 💙💜💙 #lilacfam #vote by @lilacsessions

A lifetime salute to the biggest pain in the ass of them all. I imagine she must have mastered the balance of serving smiles to the weak mid century male ego and silent upper cuts as she made her bid for the highest court in America, inspiring millions of women along the way. Stamina, Courage, Heart. And a whole lot of pain in the ass. Women. Just the greatest. Honor her. #rbg by @lilacsessions

When some of your all-time favorite humans are out there making the good art and sending you some of that good art in the snail mail 😍 We love you so much @woodcatcoffee! taken in Woodcat Coffee Bar by @lilacsessions

It feels fantastic to let the people up top know how you feel and remind them that the future of their careers are in the hands of us voters down below. We’re at the top, really. It’s important to remind representatives that if they don’t represent us the way we ask them to, we will vote for someone else who will. A postcard seems so meager. Link in bio for simple steps to do the same. Happy 27th Birthday to Breonna Taylor. May we all help bring her and her family justice. All the love. Keep it going. 💜 #justiceforbreonnataylor #birthdayforbreonna by @lilacsessions

What’s been done & not been done is not enough to make up for what’s been done & not been done. Screenshot - Save - Share. Been processing the footage of the death and murder of George Floyd. Hi! We love and miss you. If you’re wanting to support a local artist I wanted to share that our Lilac family/team/co-conspirators are some of the most creative people around. Here is just a taste! Hit up @moonshinethehuman for unbelievable beautiful, psychedelic prints that contain pretty much the entire color spectrum and will make you feel like you have one hundred tiny hearts bouncing around in your eyes when you stare at it. - And hit up @gad.artandfabrication for insanely beautiful, one of a kind, wall hanging weaves. They’re hand woven on a loom with the most thoughtful love and tenderness and each has its own unique design and color palette and comes with a custom, also one of a kind, uniquely designed wooden head piece to go with it.
If you’re staring at your wall like the rest of us and are wanting your walls to bring a little more joy and light into your life, put some art on it!

Hope everyone is fairing well out there. We miss you. Might be planing a virtual something in the coming weeks. Corona might be able to put a cap on creativity but she can’t suffocate her completely. All our love to you always, in all ways!

Today’s featured artist-that-we-love is Jasmine Golan of the band Saviors
@jasminegolan @saviorsla
It’s a trying time for the arts. If it’s within your means, and you’d like to personally give to this artist during this challenging time you can do so by sending money directly to her Venmo account. Her Venmo handle is @ Jasmine-Golan. We’ve posted her Venmo handle in our bio as well.
A simple Like of her page or Sharing this video or some of her other work is a worthy action of love and support, too.
Stay safe friends.
We love you
