“Dear friend, do u wanna be my lover at the afterparty?” is a short film about heartbreak at parties, set in a liminal and unique moment in time: youth. It explores a possible, maybe unwanted love that grows out of a friendship — where all that really exists are doubts and questions.
“Dear friend, do you remember that night at Ana’s party, when there were so many people around but it was really just you and me?”
The film is about the party after the party… and the after afterparty. When the music stops, when you’re finally alone, and your mind is nothing but questions, while the answers are still left unsaid.
It’s not a film that tries to deliver a message. It just wants to leave you with questions.
Have you ever fallen in love with a friend?
Have you ever felt alone while being surrounded by so many people?

🌀💙 OPEN DAY de CDI — ATLAS COLECTIVO

Las imágenes nunca existen solas.
Un diálogo, un eco, una constelación, un juego de espejos.
Sobre todo: un atlas.

Este domingo 15/3 abrimos nuestros procesos y corazones en Mandolina.

Sophie had a dream.
She saw Herzog and he said one word: pilgrimage.

We were thinking about Annie Leibovitz and Susan Sontag.
About that photobook where Annie returns to all the places that mattered to them.
An affective journey. A pilgrimage.

I was also peregrinating.
Exhausted. After a very sad year.
2026 began this way.

We arrived in the Azores.
That same day, I dreamed of a battle with the island.
Would it tolerate me, or would it expel me — nerves, madness, ecstatic truth and all?

The island gave its small battles.
But without a doubt, it was the best team.

All pilgrims.
Hearts with other hearts.

Thank you to our protagonists
Bárbara, Aida, Rubén, Nuno, Maria Rita
for opening a small door of their souls.
We promised to care for their dreams gently.

On the last day, filming Aida, I couldn’t stop crying.
Maybe I had never allowed myself to fully mourn my father.
This short holds all the love, all the hugs I never got to give him.

Then my Cuban woman looked at me and said:
“I see you. And he sees you too.”

And Tom.
Tom, Tom, Tom.
Endless gratitude for walking this pilgrimage with me.

And my Argentinians
Nico, Juan, and Jill
carrying Argentina with such grace and fire.

To the best team.
To love, care, and images.
Long life to Werner Herzog.
