An older couple of reads to review but this duology had me hooked! They are such fun, feel-good reads and the romance tropes/references were so cute (especially in book 2)! Liz and Wes’ journey bonding over their life events and finding their way back was so sweet, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! by @lilaslibraryy

Margaret Mitchell House & Museum (2026)! We got to see Mitchell’s personal apartment along with her original bookcase & manuscripts, along with a portion of the apartment dedicated to the international & cinematic adaptations (plus a first edition copy) of “Gone with the Wind”! by @lilaslibraryy

I haven’t read this book in about six years so this is definitely a very late review 😅 but reviewed it in honor of the museum visit! I remember the relationship between Scarlett & Rhett Butler was so enticing, the ending shocking me and being so sad that Scarlett realized the truth much too late, but Rhett’s last line (& Scarlett’s) is absolutely iconic! ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 stars (for the length 😆) by @lilaslibraryy

The book that really got me into classic literature & one of my lifetime favorites!! I love the complexity and vulnerability of each character against the aesthetics of the roaring 20’s & I have probably reread this book 1,000 times 😆 I definitely want a more recent copy for my bookshelf as time goes on! Highly recommend if you love drama, history, and the 1920s vibe! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ by @lilaslibraryy

Emily Brontë does such a fantastic job of writing Cathy and Heathcliff’s bumpy journey together intertwining into a beautiful tragedy! I loved this book and the twists that Brontë kept turning up until the end, but the two leads could be a bit frustrating at times (yet got to read their story in this gorgeousss gold edition)! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ by @lilaslibraryy

Oxford University libraries & architecture (from our 2025 visit)! It was absolutely fascinating to be surrounded by such rich history and traditions with fun tidbits like some buildings being used for the Harry Potter filming locations!! by @lilaslibraryy
