Another trip around the sun, and although I’ve been here every year, each time it looks so different. The feels, the smells, the energy. It is Gods greatest gift to his favorite daughter, with an eye of curiosity and one who loves surprises.

He & I are closer than ever before and I’m so thankful for this beautiful life he’s given me. Growing in our relationship w/ one another he has taken me to a deeper layer of love and understanding, and as a result this has bled into every area of my life. With my husband, with my kids, with my family & with my purpose.

You can’t buy this peace, and as I see the world burning around me, he challenges me to be still and anchor myself in him. So in this new era I will not force it.

-No forced feelings
-No forced relationships
-No forced decisions

Thank you to all that reached out and said a kind word to me on my birthday. I hold the love and encouragement so dear to my heart, y’all are constant reminders that I am on the right path. That I am making a difference in people’s lives, and that your worlds are better with me in it.

I wish I could hug little Cecy and tell her just how good it gets. Better than anything she could have ever imagined.

Being in such a beautiful place on my Birthday forces me to be grateful. It is the sweetest reminder of how blessed I am. For my family, for my friends, for my health & for my finances. & to have people that go out of their way to make me feel celebrated & loved. For that I am so incredibly thankful.🫶🏽😭

Thank you God for being so patient with me, for giving me grace while you waited for me to wake up. I promise to be careful with the blessings you’ve given me & to continue to make room for the ones you have already promised are on their way.

Blessed everyday I take a breath regardless if I can feel it or not.

God has made good on so many promises he’s made to me, that I’d be a fool not to see how rich my life is. Rich in love, rich in laughter, rich in relationships that I have taken years & countless hours pouring into. With people that I love & that genuinely want to see me win.

It’s almost normal that I get sad every year around my birthday. & I’m learning to give myself grace in that fact because I’m human. The sadness doesn’t overshadow the love but it’s a reminder that time is always moving forward & it’s out of our control to stop. So this year, like every one before it, I promise to make it count. For myself & for those that are no longer with us.

Thank you for all the love & birthday wishes that were shared with me. They are deeply appreciated.
