Welp. Aubrie has had way too much rough stuff thrown at her the past few years, but i learned a long time ago that there aren't really reasons when shit happens. Things happen and you do what you can with your experiences and instincts and community and keep going.
She recently had a stroke, which she's recovering from, then we immediately had to oversee the removal of Benji's rebellious appendix over a few days at Madera Children's Hospital, and then the ridiculous plot-twist of a breast cancer diagnosis last week.
The coming weeks and months will include multiple surgeries, chemo treatments and radiation. She had her first meeting with her surgeon today and i feel like it's a really good team that she'll be working with. Aubrie caught it early due to her insistence on yearly mammograms and her prognosis looks good. But it's going to be a rough road.
She's remarkably positive and ready to accept the challenge that's been presented and she has an unbelievably supportive network of friends that have already shown up for her.
So I'm doing ok, and Benji is doing good as well. We just want our girl to get through this, healthy and happy and keep shining her bright-ass light all over because the world needs that shit.

Little buddy had a stay at Valley Children’s Hospital 5 Star resort. Rest in peace to his appendix. We can’t say enough good things about Valley- every single person there was awesome. He’s now back at home and recovering well. ❤️ by @lildroopy225

Here is the schedule of music for The Good Luck Campout 2026!

Music starts at 6pm on Thursday and at 10am on all other days. Performers are listed in order of appearance.

On-site car passes are sold out, but you can still get a camping pass to camp with a friend, and park in the overflow lot, or camp in the walk-in area C. There are also day passes available! All Ages!

Well, today is the day the new album becomes officially released! We made hard copies on CD and vinyl and today folks can also download a digital copy. Pro-tip: the download includes 4 extra bonus tracks exclusively available with the digital download. And don’t you know, you get one of those downloads for free with an order of either the CD or the vinyl. So something pretty wild happened last week. Aubrie came up to me in the kitchen and started telling me things that i couldn't really decipher. It almost made sense, but it didn't. After 30 seconds or so of this, i could tell something was wrong and we had to go to the hospital. I didn't really understand before this, but i should have called the ambulance right away. Instead, we drove to Sutter in Turlock and from there she took an ambulance to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. It's absolutely where you go for a stroke around here, and that's what they figured was going on. Aubrie had a stroke. She's home now and she's OK, but she was in an ICU for 2 1/2 days, then a regular room for the last day before she was discharged on Friday. She's going to be dealing with relatively minor effects and probably some amount, however small, of TBI.
They are pretty sure of the cause of it, and it's something that can be pretty easily rectified, so hoping it was all a one-off incident.
If i could redo the situation, i would definitely have just called the ambulance right away. And I'm grateful to have learned from a paramedic that i was talking to, that you don't fuck around with other hospitals when you're with someone showing stroke symptoms. Doctors is the one and only. Dead serious about that. F-word serious. They save lives over there like it's just no big deal. Amazing, inspiring crew over there.
So she's doing well and she's at home, and still having some slight linguistic issues, but i think those will be overcome.
Thank you to the friends,family, and co-workers that were assembled like Voltron to help make sure everything was taken care of and our family fully supported.

Life is crazy and everything is all weird but we still need little rechargers and reminders of what makes life good. The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit helps to make life good. And we're playing in San Francisco tomorrow at a magical place that time is running out on. Soon, the Bottom of the Hill will be closing their doors forever and turning off that sign for the last time.
There's still some tickets left and i hope you get some and come out tomorrow. It's important to do that sometimes. by @lildroopy225

Far as I know, this is still the last year the Bottom of the Hill will be open, so it's likely the last time we're playing there.
Needless to say, I'm going to miss that joint. by @lildroopy225
