a very special sigil 4 Ozzy
Wolves & pigs, acrylic on paper 2024
There was a woman then-
Far from us but wolves have speech
We knew of her
Heard of her works, heard of her plans
Heard of the wolf she gentled
The dogs she fed
The harried boar she welcomed to her fold by @lilgi4nt

💀✨ Artist Spotlight: Carolyn (@urfavcaro | @lilgi4nt) 🔥🌼
Meet Carolyn, an independent artist whose work explores resilience, ritual, and the quiet sanctity found in everyday materials. Her creative practice transforms humble, weight-bearing objects into sacred vessels — honoring the endurance, labor, and memory that shape collective and personal histories.
For DTLA Día de los Muertos, Carolyn presents “Sanctuary” — an ofrenda installation built upon an 8’ x 8’ platform of plywood and cinder blocks, intentionally chosen to celebrate both resilience and accessibility. These materials, often overlooked, become a foundation for remembrance — grounding the altar in permanence while supporting offerings of fabric, flowers, and flame.
Once illuminated, the structure transcends its raw form. Along its edges, flame motifs and sigils — personal emblems of transformation and ancestral fire — are stenciled as protective symbols. Through this duality of the enduring and the ephemeral, “Sanctuary” becomes more than an altar: it is a threshold, a ritual ground where the sacred emerges from the ordinary.
At its core, Carolyn’s work is a meditation on intention — a reminder that sacredness is not found in luxury, but in meaning. Her altar stands as solid as grief, yet as luminous as love. 💗💀🕯️
Experience “Sanctuary” at DTLA Día de los Muertos, and step into a space where spirit, structure, and memory converge.

Mark of the Rooted Flame
2024
I burn beneath the surface,
fed by what cannot be taken.
What ends in light
began in shadow.
Azrael, keep the threshold clean.

(NOT FOR SALE infused with magic I will not part with.)

Prayer for the Displaced:
In these trying times, when families are torn by cold hands,
may your fire remain rooted within us.
Azrael, bearer of quiet mercy,
give us strength to carry your blessing from this place to the next.
Let no border unhome us,
for all the earth is yours.

May we walk as strangers
and still find belonging,
for even you, Divine one,
are an alien in all lands.

I paint sigils to remember what dreams tried to tell me.
This is sacred mess, maternal prophecy, and wild devotion in motion.
For those with eyes
you’ll know which ones were meant for you.

A painting of a dream,
and the dream of a lineage too old to name.

Oracle Entry V: The Starseed’s Inheritance

My son, no matter how tenderly you reach for them,
they will recoil.
They will sense your difference
and mistake it for danger.
And the curse, your ancient companion
will remind you:
you are not theirs to love.

Answer softly:
for silence is the language of the old ones,
and even shadows kneel before what they cannot name.

Link in bio to walk with us beyond the veil.

The rootless curse: a Riddle of Severance ⚔️
Who feeds on legacy yet leaves only ash?
Whose name echoes, yet no soul replies?
I turned from the source, broke the chain, sealed the gate
Let the hollow find its hollow
And let no root take in this soil again. #lilgi4nt

*sigh* the final painting of this quadtryptych.
Now, dear followers, enjoy the riddle:
A protection seal forged from flight, memory, and ancestral blood. To those who read me before I speak, may your gaze be returned tenfold.👁️

I wear skin, but I was not born of this world.
I mirror your shadows and awaken your ghosts.
You despise me because I carry what you fear , truth that doesn’t flinch.
I am not here to be understood. I am here to disrupt the forgetting.
