PROTÉGÉ OF THE YEAR 🏆

First of all LiLi we are so PROUD of you. We always tell you there is no guarantee you will be the most talented but you can make sure you are the hardest working. This year we’ve watched you put in the work behind the scenes, sometimes getting frustrated but never giving up. Many nights we would hear music faintly off in the background and when we go to see what it is, there you would be trying to get this “one last move before bed”. Although it’s annoying in the moment mommy and I would look at each other and smile.

As much as we would like to take the credit, we can’t , you have truly found your tribe and we would like to thank Mrs Suzy @hiphopkidz for creating one of the biggest and best families anyone could be a part of.

To @brooklynnn.c and @ashaunti_spencer you two are the perfect ying/yang combination ,Brooklyn calm but stern while Ashaunti, let’s just say we hear you loud and clear keeping the kids in line, every week even though we are outside and the door is closed, lol. In just two short years you helped LiLi so much, and we can’t thank you enough.

@i_brandonbryant Thank you for PUSHING them to be great.Anytime we try to tell LiLi just relax you will eventually get it, she responds with “Were you on So You Think You Can Dance? The person who was says I need to get it now.

@gar.ykid As a member of Dade Crew and a teacher you helped the dancers see what was attainable because they got to not only learn from you every week but also see you in action all year. We know LiLi is not alone when she says she will miss you.

@nyanacossio the few privates LiLi did with you last year really helped with her confidence, teaching her what it takes to go full out, u have a fan for life. She always comes and shows us anytime you post a new video.

To her crew mates and even the parents that just say hello, LiLi really appreciates the friendships she has been able to nurture. She does online school so HHK is her social life and often times she gets upset when we don’t know the person she is telling us about like there isn’t over 100 kids between BPC,DPC and Protege.

So congrats again LiLi, we love you. The work has just begun! taken in Marriott Heron Bay Coral Springs by @lili_dadecrew

After assisting with Performance Troop and watching them kill it all day, I had to get a little dance in myself. Love this choreography by 🧠| @isaiahsouthalltutorials

So @lili_dadecrew told me she wanted to start going to the gym consistently, I told her cool , if we go we have to go early enough to get there work out and get home in time for school. To my surprise I got a text at 5:00am asking what time we were leaving …. Ok BIG Li , I see you, I guess I’m back in the gym. by @lili_dadecrew
