It is a privilege to be part of the TuWezeshe Akina Dada Fellowship 2026 led by @forwarduk_ in collaboration with @cdf_tanzania and other partners @hope4young_girls @msichanainitiative @wadadasolutionstz @tamwa_ .

This fellowship is more of leadership program and it is a movement committed to empowering young women leaders to drive meaningful social change through impactful community-based projects.

Together, we built a sisterhood, we challenge social norms that undermine women’s capabilities, advocate for equal opportunities, and create spaces where every woman can thrive and reach her full potential.🤩🤩

When women are empowered to lead, communities thrive.✨💜

#sisterhood by @liliankimath

A significant day has been written into my journey as a young woman. Being selected as one of the fellows in the TUWEZESHE KINADADA Fellowship, Cohort Three, is such a great privilege and blessing🙏. I am truly honored to represent Tanzania.
Through the knowledge and skills I have gained from the training, including sisterhood, leadership skills, GBV and feminism, I have learned that change begins with you. It starts with self-awareness, self-love, and self-care❤️.
I hope our communities, will welcome us with open hearts because we come not only to speak, but also to listen to girls and understand their experiences. As young women, our greatest passion is to see a society where people are aware of social issues, understand their impact, and work together to create positive change.
Together, through sisterhood and feminist leadership, we can empower girls, transform our communities, and build a better future for all.🫂🏆

Thank so Much @hope4young_girls @forwarduk_ @cdf_tanzania @tecmntanzania

Tuwezeshe Akina Dada( in Aisha’s voice). Whew what a fellowship! ✨😊

The sessions were rich, the conversations, immaculate, and the women I met? Absolutely incredible. So much to learn, so many brilliant people to learn from.

One thing I’ve been thinking about is PRIVILEGE. We are indeed privileged. We access knowledge, opportunities, and freedoms that aren’t everyone’s reality.

A big thank-you to @forwarduk_ , @cdf_tanzania , and everyone who poured their time, thought, and care into making this fellowship such a memorable experience. I’m leaving with plenty to reflect on, and a lot of love for the women I got to share it with. 💛 by @liliankimath

Almost a week of learning, unlearning, love and growth.

11th–16th October, a beautiful chapter of my journey through the TuWezeshe Akina Dada Fellowship.

I came for the learning but I’m leaving with so much more new perspectives, beautiful connections, shared stories, laughter and a sisterhood to cherish. 🥹❤️

A reminder that leadership is also about listening, growing together, making room for one another and becoming the kind of women who create space for others to thrive.

Grateful for the experience, the lessons and every woman who made this journey special. Here’s to growing, leading and lifting each other as we rise. 🫶🏽✨
