When @jorienjorien approached me to cater @grimmgallery new location in the South of France, I reminded her I live in Marrakech and gave her a few honest reasons why I wasn’t the obvious choice. After a few honest exchanges, and a few days of thinking it through, I took the mission.

Lunch: as local as possible.
Dinner: a paella I hadn’t made in 20 years.

They said “we trust you.” I accepted the challenge.

The day before the event, I gathered my team for a briefing. Over a beer, we talked about what hospitality really means.

Hospitality is the art of turning strangers into guests, guests into friends, and moments into memories.

Hospitality is making someone feel better when they leave than when they arrived.

Last weekend the word Hospitality truly lived up to its meaning !

The energy you give always comes back.

I am forever grateful to @jorienjorien and @grimmgallery , @jorggrimm & @hannahreefhuis family for the opportunity, the trust, and a welcome that went far beyond professionalism. They made us feel like part of their family. Definition of kindness.

None of it — the journey, the work, the results — could have happened without @lilislife020 and @lorcatepas . People like them don’t just get the job done. They make it fun, and they push it past expectations. The love, the laughter, the energy, the focus, the peace — from the moment we stepped into the car in Amsterdam until we came back — was some of the biggest blessings I’ve experienced in this field.

For all of it, I am forever grateful. We created beautiful memories in a way I could never have imagined.

From the bottom of my heart. Thank you. ❤️ by @lilislife020

When lunch turns into dinner… good food, a lot of love, another glass & no reason to leave the table. 🤍🥂
