I forget where I heard the term “business whimsical,” but I lean hard into that :) Without fail, when I am wearing a dress with cats riding pizza in space, or my big sunglasses that look like 💋 kiss prints, I forget. I forget that I am conspicuous, a spectacle, that I’m wearing an outfit that makes people SMILE REAL BIG. And then people do, they smile and say hi, they ask if it’s my cats on the dress (I wish!), other fat girls will give me a nod, other people in wild fashion choices give me finger guns, and for a moment every time I’m like WHAT ARE YOU SMILING LIKE THAT FOR WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME…oh right 😜lol case in point, my WeWork has someone who tends to the plants, and as I was typing this, I got in a long convo with him about cats. I’ve seen him a million times and we’ve never chatted before😹😻😹🍕🪐🛸🚀 Anyway, when I’m done forgetting why people are smiling real big at me, I’m happy to have been a sunny moment for someone. I spent the first 25 years of my life dressing to disappear. ToddlerGrandmaFrizzle will always be my aesthetic. Happy Wednesday! by @lillian_bustle
