Metrolina Christian Academy Girls are National Champions! The team of Hadley Martin, Kiri Campbell, Lillian Anderson, and Ridley Rutherford broke the all-time indoor and overall school record in the 4000 m Distance Medley Relay. They ran a record 12:59.56 Friday night March 21st, 2025 in Virginia Beach at the Adidas Indoor Track Nationals. The same four ran lights out and bested their efforts in Boston the previous week by a full 15 seconds to earn 1st place in the Championship and be declared National Champions! Hats off to the girls and all their families for supporting these girls in some gutsy performances. What an amazing team of girls who ran so hard for each other. So happy for them. They are so deserving with all the hard work they put in. Their love of one another is so inspiring and what makes this achievement all the more special. It is absolutely amazing to see God work and see what he has planned for those who have faith in him. Thank you to the school and Coach Brett Honeycutt for supporting these Champions and making this a possibility. What a weekend in beautiful sunny Virginia Beach! Glory be to God! #metrolinachristianacademy #adidasnationals #virginiabeachsportscenter taken in Virginia Beach Sports Center by @lilliananderson442

$This was a very unforgettable season! From a two inch fracture to conference and state champions in 4x800. This season didn’t go how I expected at all, but God had a plan and when we remain faithful we see His goodness! by @lilliananderson442$
