INTRODUCTION - MONDAY Hello to all, I thought it was time to introduce and re-introduce myself to everyone. My names Tamara and I am a lover of all things to do with home styling. I have been married for 2 years to the love of my life Giacomo who is a Radiographer. (He is smart and I am creative) haha We have two Furr babies, Cleo the Pompklee and Toby the rescue cat. You may see them on the socials from time to time. I have worked as an Interior Stylist for 3 years, staging properties for sale in realestate. I absolutely loved creating beautiful spaces and enhancing the homes features. I am currently moving onto more content creating and product styling, I have found that my passion is more behind the lenses and I have just started to thrive in this field. I’ve stopped following trends and since doing so I’ve found MinE… Sometimes the pressure of following trends and comparing yourself to others means you loose what you love and what you like. It can make you confused and uncertain of what style you actually like, which in some cases you can’t pick a simple product in a store because of the million questions you’re asking yourself… is it trending? Is it like that home account I follow? Do I actually want and like this? And then you end up walking away and not getting anything.. This is such a common feeling and we need to find out more of what we like and what trends we are actually getting inspired by that collaborates with our own. When photos can tell a story as much as a reel 📷 I’ve been seeing a lot of people on here go from making reels to just posting their beautiful photos and I am all for this movement. Instagram was created to show effortless photos of what you were passionate about with no pressure of how many likes or comments you got. It was your own personal photo album you created to express yourself. These days Instagram has definitely changed and turned more into competition with how much traction a post/reel gets and that apparently is meant to show your audience/ brands you work with that you’re good or not? Honestly I’ve seen people with hardly any followers have more talent in their content than people who have ‘a lot of followers’ the algorithm is not a nice word in my dictionary. #photos #captures #passion #design by @lilliansdesignstyling
