My angel on earth is officially in the arms of Jesus. 🕊️🤍🪽

Nana taught me more about life, love, and who I am than I could ever put into words. In every season of life, she never failed to point me back to Jesus Christ, not only through the words she spoke, but through the way she loved, encouraged, and cared for the people around her.

I’m going to miss my constant voice of wisdom, advice, and reason. I’ll miss knowing I could call her on a random afternoon just to hear her voice, tell her about my day, ask what she thought, or simply laugh with her. There is such a deep ache in knowing I can’t make those calls anymore, but there is also so much peace in knowing exactly where she is.

Of all the wisdom Nana gave me, my favorite thing she ever taught me was that love is an action, not just a feeling. She lived those words so beautifully. She taught me that love is something you choose, something you show, and something you give again and again.

I hope to carry that piece of her with me for the rest of my days: to love people intentionally, to show up for them faithfully, and to make sure the people I love never have to wonder if they are loved.

What a gift it was to be loved by her. What an even greater gift it was to call her my Nana.

I love you most, Nana. Until I get to hear your voice and laugh with you again. 🤍 by @lillieg26

“For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

There are some places that forever change your heart, and for me, Casa de Fe is one of them. 🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨
Three times I’ve walked through these doors, and somehow it never gets easier to leave. Every trip breaks my heart all over again—not because of sadness alone, but because of the overwhelming love, joy, and faith these children carry every single day.
They’ve taught me that joy isn’t found in what you have, but in Who you have. They’ve reminded me to slow down, to love deeper, to serve more selflessly, and to trust God more completely.
Every goodbye leaves a piece of my heart in Ecuador, but somehow God always heals it back. He fills the broken places with gratitude, purpose, and a sweet reminder of how much He loves us. by @lillieg26
