Work in New York aligned with the kids’ spring break. So it naturally turned into a work/play trip! Work for me, play for them… which meant more work for me 😆

@aladdinmusical on Broadway + @bryantparknyc + @nypl + @grandcentralstationnyc + Whispering Gallery + lunch at the legendary @nyoysterbar + Filipino Heritage Night at @thegarden (which I moderated, helped organize with @naffaa.ny and @brendan.flores and covered for @sojannelleTV) + @metmuseum + leadership tea with @redribbonusa at @loidanlewis ’ 5th Ave penthouse + kids' special experiences access at the @nyknicks game against Raptors + Brooklyn day ( @brooklynbridgeig walk) + spring in @centralparknyc + @jellycat Diner + and everything we ate -brothless ramen (so good we ate there 3x), pork floss taro cake, grape Americano at @lelecha_nyc and @julianaspizza in @dumbo_brooklyn

Running a show while making sure they got a childhood! It wasn't balanced. It wasn’t easy. But it was FULL 🥰

And a special thank you to my sister, @kristineso, for flying all the way in to babysit... her most expensive gig yet 🤑 (More on this later ❤️)

Lilly placed 1st in her division (Grades 4–5) at the Catholic Daughters of the Americas National Education Contest.

This year’s theme - "The Least of These: Lifting Others Up” (Matthew 25:40) - makes this win even more meaningful. Not just talent, but heart. ❤️

This Women’s History Month, I’m celebrating a budding young woman in my own home. 💜

Lilly recently stepped into the recording booth to voice the Mattel Disney Reveal commercial, and watching her bring the script to life was such a joy. What made me happiest wasn’t just hearing her voice on the spot; but seeing how much fun she had discovering that her voice can be used to create, to tell stories, and to spark a little magic. ✨

Here’s to young girls everywhere learning that their voices matter... and that they can use them to bring joy and inspiration to the world. 💫

My first trip to Universal Studios was in 2001. It was also my first time in the U.S. (last photo). My sister had moved here the year before to study at USC, and we spent the day together catching up and bonding, just like we always had growing up so close in the Philippines.

I’m not sure why, but I never made it back…
until last week, when my sister invited us again.

A private party (no crowds, no lines), free food, free swag, and a Ludacris concert?! And this time, I got to bring Lilly and Leo for their first visit. 💫

It really felt like an “all I do is win” kind of night. 🏆

Same sister. Different chapter. 💕 Forever grateful for the best sister to me and the best aunt to my kids. 😘

Happy 10th Birthday to my beautiful TENager! 💖

What a year it’s been and what a young lady you’re becoming. Through all the change and challenges, you’ve shined brighter than ever. ✨ Filmed a Mattel/Disney commercial (this magical Frozen moment 🩵❄️); and lent your voice to Disney again this past month; filmed a movie playing the young version of actress London Thor; sang beautifully in a concert at the Colburn School; sang an impromptu duet with The Voice champion - Sofronio Vasquez; finished third grade with the Excellence Award; and now topping it off with this incredible report card from first trimester of 4th grade!

But what makes me proudest isn’t just what you’ve done... it's who you’ve become - a girl who knows her worth, treats others with kindness, and stands tall with integrity, even when life gets messy and unfair.

A choice was made for you this year - one you didn’t want, one that broke your heart and stole pieces of your childhood too soon. You were forced to grow up faster than you should have had to. But instead of crumbling, you rose. You faced what most adults struggle to face. You learned to see through words and watch actions. You learned what real love looks like- that it shows up, stays honest, and never makes you question your value.

You’ve carried yourself with strength, grace, and a light that no one could dim. You turned heartbreak into growth, and pain into purpose. That’s who you are; and that’s who you’ll always be.
