I finally found jeans that stay up on my waist after they've successfully cleared my thighs.

Which, frankly, feels like a miracle.

Apparently, my body has been asking jeans to understand geometry, and most jeans have responded, “Absolutely not.”

These have just enough stretch to accommodate the thighs while still keeping their shape. So I get to feel sexy and functional.

And unlike leggings, they have pockets.

REAL POCKETS.

Pockets big enough to hold my phone, keys, and probably the emotional baggage I’ve accumulated since 1981.

Anyway, I’m obsessed.

My thighs are happy.
My waist is secure.
My ass looks good.

We can’t always make the right decisions, but we can have friends who laugh with us—and pick us up when those decisions go spectacularly wrong.

Like maybe at the pool, when we’re convinced all the water molecules have separated and we’ve developed a spiritual relationship with a fire hydrant.

Just me? 🤷‍♀️😂

This week

Tuesday (free): I Accidentally Ate an Eighth of Hash, and Then I Became a Local Legend- a birthday story that proves I have always been capable of making questionable decisions.

Thursday (paid):I Sing for Me—a story about losing my voice, finding myself, and eventually learning to sing on my own terms. And then, for the first time, I’m sharing my voice with you. Literally, in song.
