Fall is here, and so are the wild geese! 🪿🍂 Lilly’s adventure continues in November’s Mail Club edition 🧡

A lot of research and thought was poured into every month’s theme and design ✨ From cultural references to little nature details, there’s a reason behind almost everything in this mail. I can’t wait to tell you all about it throughout the month! I hope you like this edition as much as I do 💌🍁

The design of the wild goose is heavily inspired by the ones found in Ancient Chinese paintings 🪿🧡 The real swan goose is actually more greyish-brown, but Traditional Chinese ink wash paintings (水墨画) often use shades of black and grey rather than natural colours. But I thought it’d be fun to give ours that classic painted look! 🪿💌

Happy birthday…to me 🥳🎉!! And to all the September babies out there ✨ I totally rushed this animatic a night before my bday (and yes, past midnight into the actual date) but it’s totally worth it because it felt like a gift to myself 💚✨!!

Starting Lillypad World on my birthday month is honestly nerve-wrecking, because failure could feel heartbreaking on an important month such as this. But seeing Lilly, her frog friends, and the mail club receive this much love and support from you guys have genuinely made this the best birthday I’ve ever had. So here’s to turning 22 and to hoping Lillypad World brings you as much joy as it does me 🐸🌸
