Time to draw a selkie! This will be one of few designs. I had a spur of the moment story in my head and need some characters.

Cave waterfall scene, painted with help of tutorial from @ruthwilshaw and her video Dream Valley. It was awesome to paint this and see it come to life.

I use some brushes I still had from years ago.
Paint is Winsor and Newton Gouache set containing the primary colours. And some extra ones, set of 10. White is from Horadam.

Study time!

Posting some studies, I usually don't post these, because they contain other people's works that I trace and copy and reference for practicing. This time splatoon characters both inklings and octolings. They got child like bodies and remain quite stumpy even when getting older.

Their ears are either pointy or round and have tentacle hair appendages that cannot move on their own but will grow into a separate entity when cut. The inklings also have the interesting rings around their eyes that continue over the nose bridge and one particular inkling had a veeeeeery long ear.

Lemme know if you like these kind of tutorials or want the voice overs back

Time-lapse!

So the drawing I did at the last day of Mermay, here is the time-lapse of that process. I will continue making tutorials, just waiting on a phone arm that will make my life easier. It got sorta delivered but not here at home so it will take a bit.

Tutorial time!

Another tutorial. I got some very good and nice feedback to make some more tutorials so I will. Colour choosing will come soon (I need a non-existing character/oc for that)

Re-upload!

Something went wrong in the reel yesterday, it clips off in the middle and starts over however the audio just continues, no clue what happened here because the original video remains undamaged.
