WELCOME TO LILLYS. Here is Lilly’s story: “I want to drive.”
Like most teenagers, that’s what Lilly most wanted when she turned 16. And because her mom, Stacy, had always told Lilly she could do anything, there simply wasn’t an option. Driving had to happen.
And that’s how Lilly’s dad, Tim, found himself on the hunt for a used golf cart.
The golf-cart search stirred up an old dream of Tim and Lilly’s. They both loved snow cones and they thought it would be a blast to drive around like the ice cream truck and sell snow cones instead.
(You see where this is headed, right?)
Tim and Stacy took their golf-cart hunt to social media, and one of their friends tagged a St. Louis favorite: Darren Pang, the St. Louis Blues’ announcer.
Together with his friends, Panger purchased a golf cart for Lilly’s birthday—one specially equipped with a snow cone machine and all the supplies! Not too long after that she opened up the stand in Lake St. louis, Missouri.

On the first day of snow cone season this year, a customer asked me about our new Cottleville location. “Well,” I joked, “I’d been praying for our business to be more successful. I was talking about being to able to cover payroll, bills, supplies, insurance, and all the other expenses that come with the business. Instead, God blessed us with a second location.”
The customer looked around, saw Lilly, and then said something that will stay with me forever. “Maybe you needed to be more specific about what ‘successful’ means, because from where I’m standing, this looks exactly like success to me.”
I had been defining “success” in terms of dollars. But now when I look at our employees and what Lilly has done in our community, I realize just how much God has blessed us with. We are super successful.
Thank you to each and everyone of you who helps us to be successful everyday. 💙💛🍧🍨🥤 by @lillys_snowcones
