Hamish and I get acquainted….. treats help! Hamish is the self appointed ‘Museum Cat’ of the @crystalbridgesmuseum in Bentonville, Arkansas. He can be seen roaming the grounds, the art and cozying up to potential lunch options…… I mean ‘guests’ of the museum. by @liloakcreative

Recently, on a visit to @thebassmoa in Miami Beach, I came across this piece of art. At first I did not think much about it……
Another digital/tech creation that is meant to attract our attention. Nothing new here in 2026, we have lots of tech creations..
As I lingered and went around the piece looking at the components, #sony mini screens, circuit boards, #laserdiscs, and keyboards, they seemed to have not progressed past a certain time period. So I looked closer and saw the piece had been created in 1992…..
Suddenly I viewed this piece in a whole new light. A piece created ‘hands on’. Before #ai art, there were artists getting their hands dirty - with something to say. Meet ‘Lucy’ - created in 1992 by #NamJunePaik, often called the father of video art. She’s named after our earliest known human ancestor, a deliberate bridge between humanity and technology. Long before AI, artists like Paik were asking the same questions we are asking now. They just had to wire it together themselves. #The bass taken in Miami Beach, Florida by @liloakcreative

Ten years of @meowwolfsantafe. What a night, to remember.
@vincekadlubek and @sdiianni were walking around last night remembering the early days when they’d question: “Does this work?”
It worked!
I’ve been lucky to collaborate with @luciano_mor and the merchandise team over the years. Working alongside their artists and creators to develop custom branded products for the gift shops. Every project teaches me something new about what custom merchandise can be. Grateful they continue to trust us, @liloakcreative , with that work.
Watching what the Founders Vince Kadlubek and Sean Di liann and @caitykennedy and @emilyamontoya and Benji Geary and the founding team have built is truly inspiring. They didn’t just create installations. They created a movement. Proof that art can be accessible, #immersive , profitable and still uncompromisingly weird. With 5 locations and over 13 million visitors, here’s to the next chapter..
