THE BEST DAY EVER— WE’RE ENGAGED!!!!

I have prayed for my husband every single night since I was a little girl. From the moment I met Justin Shaw, I felt the Lord answering those prayers in ways I never could have imagined. Our love story is my favorite story to tell, and I can’t wait to spend forever telling it with you.

Hi! I’m Lilly Martin, OTD, OTR/L, and I am so excited to introduce Best Day Ever Therapy! 🤍

I grew up in Grayton Beach, and long before I ever became an Occupational Therapist, I was the one sitting in therapy rooms myself. I know firsthand how much the right therapist can impact not only one person, but an entire family. Getting to open Best Day Ever Therapy in the community that raised me feels incredibly full circle.

Best Day Ever is a one-on-one occupational therapy practice serving children and adults along 30A. OT is all about the everyday things that make up our lives — getting dressed, sitting through a meal, handwriting, playing, building independence, returning to the things you love after an injury, or simply making everyday routines feel a little easier.

Every session is individualized and built around you, your family, your goals, and your real life. Sessions are available at our Santa Rosa Beach office at The Shops of 393, in your home along 30A, or virtually throughout Florida.

I truly cannot wait to serve this community and share more about what we’re building here.

Sometimes the best days are simply the ones where the everyday things feel a little more possible. Here’s to making more Best Days Ever! ☀️

One year without my favorite person, my Nana 🤍

A few months before my Nana went to be with Jesus, she sent all of her home videos to be stored online, having no idea she wouldn’t be here to watch them with us. Oh how I’ve cherished getting to hear her voice on the days I need it most.

There are still so many days where it doesn’t make sense that she isn’t here. And lately, in a season filled with so many things I wish I could tell her about and celebrate with her, I find myself missing her in a whole new way. But I also feel her in all of it.

I get to look down every single day and see the diamond my Nana wore close to her heart on my finger. I don’t think there could have been a more special way to carry a piece of her with me into this next season of my life. It reminds me of my Nana, but it also reminds me of the hope we have in Jesus—that this goodbye was never forever.

To the best summer of my life!!! 🥹🤍

I’ve always said I would come home one day, once I found my person… and this summer, it all happened!!! I’m home with @justin__shaw !!! The Lord takes my prayers very seriously!!

For the past 4 years, Nashville became a little bit like home too. It gave me some of the sweetest years of my life, the very best friends, and the person I get to do life with forever!! I’ll always love my favorite city!

Since then, our days have been filled with weddings, birthdays, time with our favorite people, and the sweetest first few months of life at home. Truly the best summer of my life, and I wish I could bottle up every bit of it forever!!!

After the YES!!!! 🤍

One of the sweetest parts of our engagement weekend was how intentional Justin was in making sure our people were there to celebrate with us. I’ll never forget looking up from the dock and seeing all of our favorite people who have loved us so well and been part of our story from the very beginning. We are who we are because God has placed these people in our lives, and I can’t imagine a more perfect way to begin this season.

I’m still trying to find the words to describe the best weekend ever… but yes, I’m still crying!! 🥹🥹
