About the Artist

Lin Yang (Lily O.) is an artist whose paintings explore emotions, colour, cultural identity, and the inner world, creating a connection between personal experiences and universal human feelings.

01 Lily O. – Springtime Call
02 Lily O. – In the Flight of Blossoms
03 Lily O. – Silent Encounter

1. What does art mean to you?

For me, art is a way of exploring the inner world and expressing what sometimes cannot be put into words. Through painting, I explore the relationship between colour, emotion, the human psyche and cultural identity.

2. What inspires you?

I am inspired by the complexity of human emotions, the beauty of everyday life, and the different ways we perceive the world around us. Colour and my experiences between Chinese and European cultures also influence my artistic vision.

3. Is there a story, memory, or feeling behind the artwork?

My paintings often begin with a feeling, an impression, or an inner image rather than a clearly defined story. I seek to capture an atmosphere or emotional resonance that invites the viewer to look beyond the surface.

4. What would you like viewers to feel?

I hope my work invites viewers to pause, feel, and discover their own personal connection to the painting. I want to leave space for individual emotions, memories and reflections.

5. If your artwork could speak, what would it say?

“Look beyond what you see. Feel what lies beneath the surface, and discover the world within yourself.”

👁️ ARTIST FEATURE: @horei_zzz

An artist with a deeply personal approach to art, @horei_zzz transforms fleeting inspiration, intimate memories, and emotions into meaningful visual expressions. Their work invites viewers to slow down, connect, and discover beauty in the subtle details of life.

01 “C.O.I.L (Circle Of Infinite Longing)”
02 “A Head of Her Time.”
03 “Perch”

1. What does art mean to you?

To me, art means everything. It has been a constant presence throughout my entire life. Art is time, it’s the way we slow down and pause momentarily to appreciate the beauty in things that might otherwise seem insignificant.

2. What inspires you?

I am most inspired by spontaneous, vivid ideas that suddenly flash into my mind, capturing those unexpected moments of insight.

3. Is there a story, memory, or feeling behind the artwork?

Much of my work is deeply rooted in personal connection. It is inspired by a certain someone who means a lot to me. Those memories and feelings are the heart of my pieces.

4. What would you like viewers to feel?

I hope viewers feel inspired when they look at my work, and that it encourages them to embrace and express their own creativity.

5. If your artwork could speak, what would it say?

It would probably whisper soft fragments of poetry.

👁️ ARTIST FEATURE: @ziiney98

@ziiney98 creates from curiosity, imagination, nature, sounds, memories, and the simple joy of making something that feels truly his own.

1. What does art mean to you?

For me art is the best thing to do in life no matter what someone creates as long as they express themselves ill be glad they do it and i personally enjoy making pictures on my phone, pc, inside of games(geometry dash to be exact), i love making music in audacity, love drawing a lot and trying to show what i have inside of my head and what i imagine every day the best i can without putting too much effort yet, since for now im learning and experimenting only!!

2. What inspires you?

Im mostly inspired by nature and whatever i imagine when i hear a sound or just generally random things that come to my mind, other artists also inspire my a lot, also music can make me imagine cool stuff and then i draw it if i liked the thing a lot

3. Is there a story, memory, or feeling behind the artwork?

Most of the digital art i make is just for fun cuz i love how it looks and ifs fun doing it, but drawings and a few digital arts i made mean a lot to me cuz they represent what i have inside of my mind every day, memories not rly but i do remember what happened the day i made almost anything ever.

4. What would you like viewers to feel?

Im happiest with someone thinking that its creative and just if it inspires them to make something themselves, tho im happy even if they hate what i made, as long as they think SOMETHING and not just ignore it

5. If your artwork could speak, what would it say?

Depends on which drawing or song or digitally made picture is in question but i make art so i dont have to use words but instead show feelings and anything i imagine since im bad at explaining stuff i imagine sadly, also i just enjoy creating anything as long as i chose to do it myself without someone telling me to do so!!

✨ by @lilu.gallery
