Our littlest peanut, Alfred. A tiny runt with a crooked jaw and under developed floppy ears. The reason I fell in love with dachshunds. You may have loved Dad slightly more than me but it was always okay. And now I can’t believe I even have to write this with the most broken heart.

Early this week Alfred showed signs of IVDD (a dachshund owners worst nightmare). We decided that surgery was the best option and prepped for a long road of recovery. After admitted into the hospital for a pre surgery CT scan we were presented with the unimaginable, they discovered Alfred did not have any spinal compressions and surgery was no longer an option. Alfred had an infarction that was blocking is nerves causing paralysis of his bladder function and back legs. With the severity of his condition and no treatment available we had to make the gut wrenching decision to say goodbye to our peanut.

We are truly heartbroken 💔. You were the best little big bro. by @lilwebsta

Last night holds an unbelievably special place in my heart.

It was 1999, I was 11, listening to BSB, Nsync and the spice girls. Until I got introduced to Limp Bizkit and entire an genre of music that would change me forever.

My parents had taken me to plenty of concerts by the time I was 11. So when Woodstock 99 and the family values tour was announced I was furious that my parents would let me go.

But, 27 years later I got to live out a dream. Most importantly I got to do it with the people I love, in my hometown ❤️ by @lilwebsta
