my favorite chapter by far 💌
.
.

Spending every summer since I was 6 years old playing this amazing sport, and to now be moving onto bigger things is an odd feeling. Softball has given me irreplaceable friendships all the way from different schools to different towns. Not just my team but along the way i’ve connected with players from other teams that are now some of my closest friends . This sport has also shown me failure and a series of setbacks . But for that I am grateful, I have been given opportunities to lead and learn from my mistakes that you can’t find anywhere else . Through it all, the coaching advice , the ongoing laughs, and the memories , have truly made it worth while. Finding the people that makes it feel like you have a 2nd family makes a goodbye oh so bittersweet. 🤍 by @lily_smartinez
