happy valentines day <3

the only reason i have the confidence to be behind @sluphotographyclub 's cameras and with @sluvogue , is because of my partner andrew ( @stardestroyer31 ) who gives me the confidence and love I need everyday. i couldn't ask for a more kind, compassionate, self-sacrificing person to be my lifelong valentine <3

times with friends are the best times :]

for the art in the second and third pictures, this was my final piece for my drawing 1 class this semester, definitely challenging in ways i wasn’t anticipating!

for this piece, i used vine charcoal, charcoal pencils, compressed charcoal, conte white, and blending stumps on white paper

with this post, my freshman year at st. louis university is over! thank you to all my friends, family, and teachers who have helped me this year! i love you all!

Sometimes, I feel terribly greedy. I want this useless thing, or that useless thing that really does no one any good. There's a time and place for reflection about avarice. But today, I'm just going to let myself have this one. Thank you Ariana for this song it really is fueling me today :]

i’ve been working on a still life for my drawing class, which has definitely been the hardest art class i’ve ever taken. i’m using vine charcoal, charcoal pencils, conte white, and blending sticks for this piece. all of these materials id never touched about 3 months ago.

this montage was about 2 hours of work in total, and i’m not quite done yet!

thank you for everyone who has taught me anything about art - there’s more of you than i can count!

and now! it’s time for some lunch, and a much needed break!

i’m in the middle of my first semester of college. thank you to everyone who has helped me so far, to all my friends whom i’ve met while i’m here. i’m not certain of the future, but i want to thank you all for the present :]
