baptized 7-9-26 2 corinthians 5:17💗

words can’t even describe how grateful i am to be accepted into the kingdom of god and to live for him every day. 🤍

making this decision was definitely not something i took lightly, but it was also something i always knew i wanted to do. getting to do it with my best friend made it even more special, and i truly couldn’t have asked for a better day.

my walk with christ has never been perfect, but he has always had a place in my heart. being at camp, surrounded by his love and so many amazing people, just made this decision even easier. i’m so proud to be a child of god and to reflect him in everything i do.

last year, i wasn’t in a very good place in life, so going from that to being baptized a year later feels so full circle. i’m just so grateful for how much god has changed my heart, for where i was compared to where i am now, and most importantly, for saving me.

i also just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me. i’m surrounded by so much love, and i’ll never take that for granted. every single person in my life who has encouraged me, prayed for me, and walked alongside me has made such a difference.
and especially em. i truly don’t think i would be here if i hadn’t met her freshman year. getting to grow, learn, and strengthen our faith together has been such a blessing, and getting baptized together is something i’ll cherish forever. she reflects so much love and joy, and i admire that so much about her. she is my best friend in christ, and i can’t even put into words how much i love her.

to my small group leaders, thank you for pouring into me and helping me grow in my walk with christ. to my amazing youth group, thank you for reflecting god’s love so well and for always making me feel encouraged and cared for. and to everyone who was at camp or who drove up to be there for me, thank you for showing up for me. your love means more than you know.

and finally, thank you to my family for always supporting me and for being there on one of the most important days of my life.

words can’t even describe how amazing bccc 26’ was! i saw jesus so much this week through my best friend and others around me! i got to be surrounded by such amazing people, make new friends, and go through all of this with emery by my side! and i loved getting to learn about lessons that just touched my heart every day like faithfulness, how beautiful he is, and how to shine your light through him! i can’t even describe how greatful i am to be apart of such an amazing church family!! i have never felt more loved and welcomed then i have at this camp. see you all next year!💗
