just casually dying after 8 miles on the highline trail

glacier national park was beautiful, although after icefields, kind of felt like a knock off. i was struck by the wonderful green-ness of everything in the park though. my favorite was the abundance wildflowers. they were everywhere and so gorgeous! now on to yellowstone! taken in Glacier National Park by @lilykate66

Reno Rodeo 2026 you were the best one yet!!

This year, I had the honor of being a Daisy Duke and partying it up in the Coors Tent! And let me tell you, y’all brought the party! It was such an incredible experience and not one I will be forgetting any time soon.

If you missed the rodeo, there’s still opportunities to line dance! I will be line dancing at Truckee Thursdays on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month. I will also be at Alibi Ale Works in Truckee on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. So you can find me and @hayli.stwrt line dancing every week this summer!! The rodeo may be over but line dancing summer is just getting started taken in Reno Rodeo by @lilykate66

@heleeennn_______’s getting marriedddd and the besties finally managed to get a trip out of the group chat!! this trip was so fun and i’m literally so sad looking back at these pictures knowing it’s over. looking forward to getting our girl down the aisle and celebrating her love in just a few months 🥹 the travel hangover is so real though and i feel like i need to book something new to look forward to. who’s down?

it was a beachy winter

three pictures to represent each month. the photos this year felt a little random at times. i definitely didn’t document as much as i usually do and i definitely didn’t do as many photo worthy things as i usually do. maybe i’ll be better at that next year🤞

2025 was the year i really fell in love with line dancing

i’ve loved line dancing for a while now, but 2025 kind of just hit different. even though i was out of commission for half the year with torn ligaments in my ankle (and felt like i missed so many cool dancing opportunities because of that), i was still able to find my dance community, start instructing, helped start a few new dancing events in the area, and participate in so many cool events!!

i danced at so many cool events like alibi (my fav place💛), truckee thursdays, the truckee rodeo, tahoe national brewing, need 2 speed, pure country canteen, south 40, boots honkey tonk, charity events, and more

i am so excited for 2026 to be a year with even more dancing, even more fun with friends, and even more learning

a few weeks ago, we had the privilege of heading to a tiny island in washington to attend my high school bestie’s wedding and though it was a tough place to get to, it was so beautiful!! we had some insane travel that involved a plane, staying with friends, borrowing their car, getting onto a ferry that we did not make reservations for, and then doing it all again on the way back. but we also got to walk around the adorable town of friday harbor, get some shopping in at the local farmer’s market, dance, drink, hot tub, ride dirt bikes with friends, and have so much fun.

gotta get the summer photo dump in before the snow hits

summer in tahoe is quite literally my favorite thing in the world! spent this summer swimming in alpine lakes, listening to live music, hanging with the besties, and unfortunately fucking up my ankle. i was honestly pretty limited mobility wise all summer (and still am) so none of the usual hiking, backpacking, or more adventurous activities could happen, but we made the most of it in other ways! i got back into reading, i started swimming to stay in shape, i managed to start line dance instructing in spite of the pain, and yeah that was pretty much my summer. looking forward to the snow and praying it be able to snowboard
