Closing a chapter I didn’t know I needed …

The last 5 months have been quite eventful to say the least! 2 months of hospital visits with mom, lots of WFH in a new job, learning how to care for someone else like never before and many selfies... Turned into times with friends, surrounding myself with people who fill my cup and getting my mom’s smile back with the help of Peach 🥹

Hug your friends, tell your family you love them, and put yourself first.

That’s my rant now onto the next chapter 🥰🥰🥰

Some of you may not know but 10 years ago my mama was diagnosed with breast cancer and kicked its ass after surgery, chemo & radiation. We never thought we would hear the diagnosis again.

But we did. My mom’s cancer came back in December and it was completely different this time. Today she is kicking breast cancer’s ass again and for good this time. 💗 Sending my mama all the love, support and can’t wait for her to be out of surgery so we can put this experience in the book of Nicles family trauma jokes.

This post isn’t to make anyone feel sorry for her but to simply spread awareness. To the wonderful women (& men) in my life get checked! Do self checks, go to the doctor, run the tests your health is wealth! As my mom says rather be safe than sorry!! With love, Lil 💗💞💓
