One of the greatest days of my life. The overwhelming and overflowing amount of joy that has been brought in my life since following Jesus is truly like nothing else. He really is just THAT good. Surrendering all of my worries, idols, plans and desire for control in my life to Jesus is when I truly felt free. He is someone who has been there for me in every moment, helped me through so many lows and been there during all of my highs. He is my reason and motivation behind everything. I used to always question how and why we all were here, and what the point of me ever having this life was. The Lord has given me purpose that is beyond my understanding. He has revealed in countless ways through family, Christ centered community, answered prayers, and being someone I can always rely on, that He is in EVERYTHING. His abundant love is a feeling that’s so indescribable, and a feeling I pray everyone is able to feel in their life. He took all of my shame, hurting, emptiness and personal struggles I’ve dealt with and used them to build me up. Without those hardships I would’ve never known Christ the way I do now. I know I would not be any of the person I am today without Him entering my story. He came RUNNING towards me and pursued me as His daughter when I didn’t even see it coming. He is good, He is faithful, and He has only changed my life for the better. Obviously my life is far from perfect, but now I can say that Jesus is my rock and I confidently know that He is going to provide for me. Whether His plan aligns with what I want or not, I’ve come to a point where I’m so content in what He has in store for me. Baptism is something I chose to do to show the world that I belong to the One, true King. The God of the universe has chose to make OUR hearts His dwelling place. I believe the Lord’s heart is the most beautiful, and that He wants and is waiting for a relationship with every single one of you 🤍 Thank you @crossingstl for providing me with a place I can call my second home and giving me people that push me to grow in my faith every single day. Nothing more can I say other than THANK YOU JESUS!!!!
