Everyday this woman spends her time feeding the same pigeons, caring for them year-round. But despite all their time together, the pigeons’ loyalty is tested. It is then up to one pigeon to ensure that the woman’s mark on the world is made.

I had a group project last year where we had to redesign the characters in Robin Hood, so my group decided to reimagine Robin Hood’s Merry Men as indigenous people fighting against colonizers in what is now the Dominican Republic. This is Robin Hood’s design, inspired by frogs and Dominican Carnival costumes! Swipe for a turnaround and expressions

A character I designed a while ago; Nima is a young boy who delivers letters for his village and gets up to lots of shenanigans with his bird-like companion Sijoo, inspired by the mythical Simurgh. Nima’s wardrobe and designs are largely drawn from Kurdish culture! Swipe for props, turnaround, and more poses.
Also, this song is a cover of Kamarey by Heshmat Lornejad, highly recommend listening to more of his music.

Self portraits from fall semester! The first one is definitely my favorite but I had a good time doing both. Hope everyone is well and safe!
