2023 공예 트렌드 페어에 창작공방관으로 참여할 예정입니다 :-)

- 작품 : 말 형상 솔

말을 관찰했을 때 목뒤에 나 있는 갈기에서 솔 형태를 연상한 것을 바탕으로 구상했다. 갈기는 실제 그 역할이 실용성과 연결되지는 않지만, 말의 길고 두꺼운 목과 갈기로부터 각각 손잡이와 솔을 연상할 수 있었다.

Although the mane does not really have practicality, the long and thick neck and its mane can be associated with the handle and brush, respectively.

The product can be used as a ‘clothes brush’. It was designed bearing in mind that it can be placed near the front door so that it can be used to tidy up one’s clothes before or after going out. by @lim.oim

<Deer-Shaped Comb>

Wood, brass
115 × 91 × 16 (mm)

Combs are thin and the teeth of the comb are easy to break. Since it should have less probability of breaking, wood has been utilized due to its dense texture and durability. Throughout the making procedure, the portrayal of the deer’s head was minimized so that it would be easy for the hand to grip. The antler’s form with the function of a comb was polished in a way for the silhouette to be clear, so the form of the product is clear to recognize.

The work was created bearing in mind its use of being placed on the dressing table or the bedside table. Since it should be used erect, the lower part of the work has been made to be thick, and the floor surface was joined with a brass sheet with more than 1T thickness. Through the thick lower part and the brass sheet at the floor surface, it can be arranged in spaces with more stability.

'사슴 형상 빗'은 세워 두고 사용할 수 있도록 구상하였기에 작품 하단을 두껍게 하였으며 바닥면에는 두께 1T 이상의 황동판을 접합했다. 두꺼운 하단과 바닥면의 금속판을 통해 안정감 있게 공간에 배치할 수 있도록 하였다. 화장대나 침대 옆 협탁에 두고 사용하는 모습을 상상하며 제작했다. by @lim.oim
