This cute little guy had a little shedding problem (eyelid dysecdysis) and his owner accidentally pulled the partially-shedded skin off — causing this poor fella to bleed 😱😱 Speaking of gecko eyes, leopard geckos have great eyesight and hearing, comparable to that of cats.

Did you know that tortoises are only sexually mature when they reach a certain size? Each breed’s sexual maturity size differs.

Rose had a massive subcutaneous abscess near the right hind which we treated by performing debridement and sending her (and her owner) home with meds. She is just the calmest little gecko 😍

Swipe to the end to see some poppin’!

Giri dropped by due to a suspicious lump on the side of his hind leg. Upon examination, we found out it was a sebaceous cyst. Swipe right for some @drpimplepopper-inspired action 🤩

Bloody urine and straining to urinate? These may be signs that your furpet has stones/crystals, also known as uroliths, in the urinary tract. These rocks can be small in cats, or might grow to be several millimeters in diameter or larger. Stones can rub against the walls of the bladder and block the tract, causing inflammation and pain. A complete urinary blockage is an emergency and can be fatal to your cat, so get medical assistance immediately.

Pipi here was found to have over 20 big and small stones in her bladder and was scheduled right away to remove the stones. She can finally urinate in pee-ace 😜

Did You Know: When you google “the smallest chicken breed in the world”, you will find that our very own Malaysian breed — the Ayam Serama would be at the top of your search. These beautiful chickies are bred mainly for ornamental purposes rather than for consumption, and one may cost up to RM4000 to own as a pet!

Due to the complex structure of a rabbit’s ear, owners must regularly clean their pet rabbit’s ears for them. Failing to do so may result in nasty ear infections that will be very uncomfortable for your bunnies. While most rabbits are able to clean their own ears, older rabbits and lop-eared rabbits will struggle to do so thoroughly and will require your help. Ear-cleaning for rabbits is not only important for cleanliness, it is also considered a grooming behaviour and thus, a sign of affection for your beloved bunnies!
