#OTMExclusive 💍 Our August cover is here, featuring #OTMBride @rummmcake and @gfkkb’s wedding in The Bahamas. 🇧🇸 “I am Bahamian, so we knew we would have the wedding somewhere in The Bahamas,” the bride shares. “A few years ago, we visited the Pompey Museum of Slavery and Emancipation in Nassau, where we were surprised to learn that many of the first freed slaves who settled in Andros were from The Congo. We both share Congolese ancestry on our dads sides and thought what a full circle connection of our heritages and love story, from there we started researching hotels and venues in Andros.” 🇨🇩 After booking @kamalamecay, 🌴 Vanessa turned to her ceremony look. She landed on a custom dress by @dilarafindikoglu. “I wanted it to have a sort of ship wrecked/washed up at the beach feeling. . .There were details I had to have like a corset, a bustle, and pearl droplets.” ⚓☀️

Honored and proud to have Ryan and Aaron’s coastal Cape Cod celebration @wequassett featured in @brides ! Taking this couple back to ‘their happy place’ and creating a day filled with unmatched energy, joy and infinite love was one we’ll never forget. Thank you @limacaroline for documenting all the beautiful moments.

“With a coastal chic theme in mind, their planner Kristyn Kerkorian of K. Kerkorian Events, designed their wedding with a moody teal and blue color scheme that subtly spoke to the event’s timing on the border of summer and fall.” Link in bio for full article.

From the first conversation, it was clear this celebration would be anything but ordinary. Rich color, thoughtful layering, and intentional design came together to create a setting that felt both refined and effortlessly inviting.

Every detail reflected Christine and Ross so beautifully, but it was the joy shared throughout the weekend that made it truly unforgettable. A celebration filled with heart, laughter, and a few moments that had every guest talking long after the last dance.

The Great Gatsby got one thing right: a large party can feel surprisingly intimate.

That’s rarely about guest count. It’s about how the room works. Layered lounges, conversational table layouts, and thoughtfully placed gathering points turn a wide-open tent into a collection of experiences.

We don’t aim to make the room feel smaller, we aim to make it feel connected.

There is a distinct kind of beauty found in the Texas Hill Country, where sprawling oaks, golden light, and wide-open landscapes set the tone long before guests arrive.

For Lindsey & Thomas, the celebration embraced that sense of place through a palette of painterly florals, warm natural textures, and thoughtfully layered design. Every detail felt both refined and relaxed, creating an atmosphere that was as welcoming as it was unforgettable.
