Welcome home Debbie Ann Panagakis, our little bumble Bee, born July 12, 2024 at 9:10am, 6lbs 12 oz💛

Bee is named after Peter’s Mom Debbie @debbiepanagakis and his maternal Grandmother Ann💛💛

She has been patiently waiting for us, as we have for her, for 5 years, our frozen little embryo since July 2019💛

After an 11 year journey, we have our girls. No more injection and medication schedules. No more waiting for results or waiting to take a full breath during an ultra sound. No more dreaming of growing our family. Now we live in this moment. Our uncertainty and sadness has been replaced with pure joy, new thoughts and new worries (currently on the list how to stop Aggeliki from jumping off the back of the couch or making sure Debbie is getting enough milk)💛

Li & Bee we love you beyond measure. Thank you for making us your parents. I’m sure we will fumble and make mistakes along the way but we will figure it all out together, the four of us💛💛💛💛

It is with guarded but overjoyed hearts we share with you that baby Panagaki will be arriving this May🧡
It’s been almost 9 years since we started to try to grow our family and after:
-6 miscarriages
-4 D&Cs
-9 egg retrievals
-11 surgeries
-countless of blood draws, ultra sounds, injections, supplements, medications
-3 MRIs
-2 balloon inserts
-3 cyst aspirations
-5 transfers
-5 years of IVF
-5 years of acupuncture
-grief therapy
-1 amazing fertility coach @kristindillensnyder
-and a whole lot in between…
We are now two months away from meeting our baby🧡

I have thought of what I wanted to say on this post for so long but there are no words to fully explain or understand what this journey has meant for Peter and I🧡

We’ve been through hell&back so many times, we’ve lost a little bit of ourselves along the way, we’ve changed, we were broken&broke down more times than I can remember but everyday we pushed through, we wished, we hoped, we prayed & most of all we loved each other through it all🧡

These photos represent all the injections we did for just this transfer. Not the previous 4 or all the injections for the 9 egg retrievals, just for this round. If you find yourself not knowing what some of the things listed above are or what they mean, consider yourself lucky🧡

To anyone reading this&still waiting &hoping for their baby, know that the road may be difficult&you will need to find the strength within yourself to move on to the next steps, there is no road map, magic pill or right or wrong answers, only you know what those steps are but know that you are not alone 🧡

To our babies we never had a chance to meet earth side, we think about you all the time. We often wonder what you would be like, we think what grade you would be going into or what birthday you would be celebrating…although we didn’t get a chance to meet, you are always with us🧡

Thank you all for the lovely wishes! As we continue to share photos from our 10th anniversary celebration, we thought we would share a bit more about us💙

What does Limani Mean? ⚓️

When it came time to name our company 10 years ago, I knew I wanted something to represent my mom and I⚓️

Limani is the Greek word for seaport. Angie @limanidesignsfloral grew up in the southern part of Greece about two miles away from a small seaport at Agrili. She would spend her summers there and our grandfather would fish there⚓️

Years later, when we lived in that part of Greece, my siblings and I learned to swim in that very same port and have spent countless summer vacations in that part of Greece since then. It’s our family’s mutual love for the limani and the precious memories made by the sea that inspired the name⚓️

If we could be anywhere in the world at any given moment it would be there⚓️

What did we set out to do all those years ago?⚓️

We wanted to bring newness, something different to our classic celebrations, accessories and overall traditional ideas⚓️

We knew if we felt this way, there must be others like us 😉 and there were!⚓️

10 years worth of clients that wanted something special and unique and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it all⚓️

⚓️ Second photo, 10 years ago after setting up my bridal shower, Limani wasn’t even an idea in our minds at this time but seeing how happy we were after putting everything together was a great indicator of how events make us feel💙
⚓️Third photo, Angie and I setting up a wedding @rm1520 back in 2012. Our bride found us through Google and we couldn’t be more excited to work with such great vendors like @tablescapeschgo @bryanmillerphoto 💙
⚓️ Fourth photo, we rented out a space for a while but ultimately,
It was easier and a better decision to continue working from our own studio at home. We have plans for the future and can’t wait to see what’s to come💙

⚓️A lot has changed over the past 10 years but our core values and ideas haven’t. What we set out to do at the beginning is still true today! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

You’ve got a friend in me💙

A whole lot of color and all the playful magic of Toy Story brought together for Niko’s baptism💙

Inspired by Andy’s room, we created a whimsical welcome moment featuring custom signage, the adorable drawings, and the sweetest little cloud details💙

Our florals brought the characters to life through color and texture; bold reds inspired by Jessie’s hat, vibrant lime greens for Buzz Lightyear and sunny yellows for Woody’s iconic shirt. An eclectic mix of blooms and textures, just like the lovable collection of toys that inspired it all💙

Each table was completed with custom table numbers and the character toys provided by Niko’s mom💙

Behind the head table, playful little moments featuring toy soldiers, colorful building blocks and a few familiar characters completed the story💙

A celebration that was vibrant, imaginative and full of childhood wonder, with just the right touch of elegance. Because even the most playful themes can be beautifully elevated💙

To infinity and beyond🚀 Congratulations to Niko and his family on his special day💙

The Arnette♥️

When the story of a showhouse becomes the inspiration for the table♥️

Beautifully designed and built, with @amycarmandesign incredible eye evident in every room the mix of bold pattern and softness, birds and butterflies, vintage books and board games, color, texture and those wonderfully unexpected details♥️

Amy drew inspiration for the house from her mother, and that personal story can be felt throughout, making it especially meaningful to carry those details into this very special dinner benefiting the @americancancersociety ♥️

We wanted the experience outside to feel like a natural continuation of everything happening inside♥️

Striking florals, stem glassware, marigold-print plates and gold flatware layered together beneath the tent. Amy’s mom loved Scrabble, we turned Scrabble tiles into place cards for each guest, a tiny detail with a very special meaning♥️

Overlooking the lake in the backyard, rich velvet linens and tassel-fringe lamps were placed on cocktail tables. @limanidesignsfloral incredible statement florals framed the gorgeous mahogany and quartz bar♥️

@subzeroandwolf made the evening even more special, bringing an incredible culinary experience to a setting created for gathering around the table♥️

One little extra Wisconsin detail… guests received personalized engraved bottles of brandy, a nod to the Wisconsin tradition of the Brandy Old Fashioned🥃♥️

Every detail had a connection♥️

From the home, to the table, to the people gathered around it, this was an evening filled with beautiful design, personal stories and so much heart, all for an incredibly meaningful cause♥️

The sweetest little farm stand for the sweetest 1st birthday for the sweetest birthday boy Tasos🌽🥕🥦🫑

A perfect day, the dreamiest setting at Independence Grove in Libertyville, and a beautiful lake view made this celebration feel extra special🌽🥕🥦🫑

We created the cutest little farm stand where guests could “shop,” paired with adorable kid-sized tables and our rustic cross-back chairs. 🌽🥕🥦🫑

Fresh florals @limanidesignsfloral , darling desserts @delabhecakes and all the colorful fruits + veggies brought this theme to life on this gorgeous fall day 🌽🥕🥦🫑

Ten years, forever to go🤍

We are not sure there are words that can fully capture how special Amanda & Andrew’s vow renewal was🤍

We took Amanda’s vision and dreamed up a dark, romantic English garden inspired by Bridgerton…moody florals, endless candlelight and hanging greenery that transformed the room into an intimate garden. Even the smallest details held meaning, including the three birds incorporated into the artwork, representing their three beautiful children who were home with their grandmothers while Mom & Dad celebrated this chapter together🤍

But as beautiful as the room was, nothing we designed could compare to the love that filled it🤍

Watching Amanda & Andrew walk in and see the space for the first time was a moment we’ll never forget. Later, surrounded by their closest friends, we had the privilege of witnessing them exchange the most personal, heartfelt vows. There were many, many tears and so much love in that room🤍

It was intimate. Emotional. Romantic. And incredibly special🤍

Amanda & Andrew, thank you for trusting us with such a meaningful celebration. We wish you continued happiness, endless joy, and so many more beautiful chapters together🤍

Here’s to the first 10 years…and all the ones still to come🤍

Trenta🍅

Quite possibly one of our favorite tables we’ve designed🍅🍝🇮🇹

For this intimate 30th birthday dinner celebrating @nepheliioanna , planned so beautifully by her sister @ellieleni_ at @olioepiu Chicago, we filled the table with lush florals, fresh tomatoes, herbs and soft candlelight paired with the happiest charger plates, vintage green glassware and a little print-on-print moment with the linens + napkins🍅

The details didn’t stop at the table. Custom favors, tomato can details, the gorgeous cake + cookies and a welcome moment complete with a vintage green Italian scooter, fresh olive branches, summer grasses, beautiful textures and, of course, a little pasta🍅

A little Italian dinner party magic in the heart of Chicago🍅

Here’s to a wonderful new decade Nepheli🎉♥️
