Third time’s the charm?

After the 42mm Khaki Field Auto Titanium and the Khaki Day Date Auto, I’ve come full circle with the 36mm Khaki Field Mechanical FAPD reissue.

Fixed lugs, acrylic crystal, hand-wound movement — not exactly the most practical specs by modern standards. But somehow, on the wrist, it all just makes sense.

The proportions, the weight, the warmth of the acrylic… there’s something wonderfully uncomplicated about it.

Maybe the best watch isn’t always the one with the best specs. Sometimes, it’s simply the one that feels right.
