Next up we have a very special track “Ordinary Love”

Our very own homegrown superstar @liminal__mx , who released Marginalia’s first ever album with recent remix treatment from the likes of JAMIIE, Fur Coat, ELIF and with constant support from Dixon, Jimi Jules and Trikk teams up with @mateoborg who just joined our label and management roster.

The Argentine multi-instrumentalist, based in Barcelona, grew up on drums, guitar and piano before electronic music became the place where all of it could live together, and he sings on his own productions.

Mateo and Santi’s paths first crossed through Marginalia. Their long distance creative collaboration started through video calls and the duo now have dozens of tracks together, ‘Ordinary Love’ being the first of many on the road. The duo will also perform a very special b2b on our Amsterdam Dance Event Showcase on 22nd of October.

Our new talent Mateo says “When we met, the connection was immediate. Everything just felt natural. ‘Ordinary Love’ came together with some vocals from me and melodies from Santi, as always, and then we built the track together. It just evolved naturally from there. We’re really happy to share this one with you, and hope you all enjoy the music we’re making together.”

This special track marks another first for Marginalia, our first official video clip that you can watch in full length on Spotify. It has been directed by Mateo himself who is also starring in it. The video has been shot and edited by @bautizela in Barcelona.

Happy Release Day

MRGNL044 | VA - Bestiary Vol. 5 is out now!

Five volumes in, Bestiary has become the clearest picture of what Marginalia actually is. It is where the label brings together the artists it has been building with, the ones who have been supporting it from the beginning, and the new names joining for the first time.

On our third year with four volumes already behind us, our mission to bring together emerging talent with established ones continues with 17 carefully selected tracks moving across house, melodic house, indie dance, afro and melodic techno.

In the following days we’ll introduce each artist and their contribution to this volume or Bestiary but for now we invite you to close your eyes; listen beyond the genres and discover the feeling that is Marginalia.

Some tracks were made for moments like this✨

Echonomist brought Liminal’s “Orchestral” to life in Athens, creating one of those moments where the music, the crowd and the atmosphere felt perfectly in sync🤍

Premiere: Orchestral / Wanna Try (Full EP) — Liminal MX

Available now on the Skorpio SoundCloud.
Official release Tuesday, July 21st on all platforms via @weare.flyinghearts

FH.013 lands this Tuesday.

Flying Hearts introduces @liminal__mx for a compelling debut on the label, presenting the two-track EP 'Orchestral / Wanna Try', shaped by creative freedom, cinematic depth, and emotional exploration. Moving fluidly between grand, narrative-driven arrangements and nostalgic, texture-heavy rhythms, the project reflects the label's affinity for electronic music that balances raw feeling with dancefloor momentum.

For this premiere, we present the complete 'Orchestral / Wanna Try' EP. Opening the release, the title track 'Orchestral' captures an ambitious fusion of sweeping electronic landscapes and symphonic grandeur, unfolding around a central melody that gradually intensifies into an emotional, dancefloor-driven journey. 'Wanna Try' shifts the focus into more experimental territory, exploring unusual sounds and textures while blending nostalgic atmospheres, melancholic undertones, and rhythmic energy into a compelling second chapter.

Liminal MX's approach to this project represents a deliberate departure from familiar club formulas, rooted instead in a desire to experiment and step outside of a creative comfort zone. Arriving on Flying Hearts, the release aligns seamlessly with the vision of founders Jenia Tarsol and Echonomist, who continue to shape the label as a home for sophisticated, melodic electronic music that resonates equally as an intimate emotional experience and a powerful dancefloor statement.
