Introducing, a versatile, physical and athletic linebacker who brings instinct, speed, effort, and a strong presence to the defensive side of the ball.

Martin demonstrates excellent instincts when diagnosing plays, finding lanes, shedding blocks, and redirecting to the ball carrier. He uses his hands effectively at the point of attack and gets physical with blockers, allowing him to disrupt plays and maintain leverage.

His speed and lateral pursuit stand out on film. Martin has the range to pursue plays across the field and the closing speed to finish. With good hip mobility and awareness, he can drop effectively into zone coverage, read the quarterback, and react quickly to the football. When he creates an interception, he has the speed and open-field ability to flip the field and turn a defensive takeaway into an offensive opportunity.

Against the run, Martin brings a strong presence inside the box and has shown the ability to defend both inside and outside concepts. His versatility allows him to line up at inside linebacker, outside linebacker, EDGE, and along the defensive front when needed.

Martin can control the line of scrimmage with his physicality, defeat blocks, close quickly on quarterbacks, and relentlessly pursue the football through the whistle.

A long, rangy 6’1 outside linebacker/EDGE prospect at just 14 years old who combines speed, explosiveness, and a high motor. He plays aggressively sideline to sideline, showing excellent lateral pursuit, strong instincts, and the ability to redirect and close on plays quickly. As a blitzer, he displays an explosive first step, finds rush lanes well, and uses aggressive hands and speed to challenge blockers off the edge. He has fluid hips for his size and shows the ability to drop into coverage comfortably in space. He is a physical, dependable tackler who finishes plays and brings the same intensity to special teams, consistently getting downhill quickly on kickoff coverage. A strong student academically, he brings an impressive combination of size, athleticism, physicality, effort, and discipline for his age.

A 15 year old two-way playmaker with a strong combination of athleticism, speed, balance, and natural football instincts. At WR, he creates separation, shows strong hands and excellent ball adjustment, and consistently attacks the football at its highest point.

He is dangerous after the catch, using great vision and patience to read blocks, find creases, and create explosive plays in space. His ability to turn short gains into big plays makes him a constant threat to flip field position. Defensively, he is a natural ball hawk with the awareness and ball skills to create turnovers. His versatility and playmaking ability give him the potential to impact the game on either side of the ball.

Welcome to the Maroons Academy 🔥

From Part 1 to Part 2, RUYA was more than just sport. It was about identity, leadership, discipline, brotherhood, and purpose.

A space where every young man bet on himself and the future version of who God called him to be.

A reminder that our past does not define us, and that God is always doing something new.

“See, I am doing a new thing!”
Isaiah 43:18–19

We’re grateful for every young man who showed up, stepped up, and embraced the journey.

And a huge thank you to our sponsors, CESOC, for generously donating gift cards to our young men, as well as our @limitlessera family and @coachjeanguillaume , for their investment in the next generation of young men. ❤️

This is only the beginning. ❤️‍🔥
