You don’t have to reach breaking point to give yourself a break.

Perhaps you’ve been holding everything together for everyone else. Saying yes when you need rest. Getting through the days, but missing that feeling of being you.

I created Reconnect& Rise for moments like this.

Our November theme is Letting Go. A chance to put down some of what you’ve been carrying and spend time listening to what you need.

On Saturday, we’ll create space to soften and explore the patterns you’re ready to leave behind, with Gabi, Zosia and me.

On Sunday, we’ll turn towards restoration — reconnecting with your body, your own needs and what you want to welcome into your life, with Bella and me.

Across both days, there’ll be movement, breathwork, energy work, guided reflection and hypnosis. And time for homemade food, conversation and connection with other women.

You can come alone. You don’t need any previous experience. And you don’t need to know exactly what you’re ready to let go of. 🤍

🌿 28–29 November 2026

Slowing down doesn’t always mean that nothing is happening… ✨

While I’ve been here in Egypt, taking time to rest, reflect and reconnect, something special has quietly been coming together behind the scenes.

I’m so excited to introduce “Come Back to Yourself”—a collection of 42 digital cards created to help you pause, reflect and choose a new response.

They’re for those everyday moments when you feel overwhelmed, caught in overthinking, emotionally triggered or simply disconnected from yourself.

Each card offers:

✨ A supportive explanation
✨ A gentle reflection question
✨ A simple, reusable practice
✨ A relatable real-life example

There’s no correct order and nothing to complete. Simply scroll through the deck and stop when a card catches your attention—or choose the one that feels most relevant that day.

Keep the deck on your phone and return to it whenever you need a moment of clarity, perspective or encouragement.

One card. One pause. One small shift.

💙 Introductory launch price: £12
Regular price: £15
Available instantly through the link in my bio.

Created with love by me, Soraya, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and RTT Therapist.

I’d love to know: which part of your life do you most need a moment to pause and reflect on right now?

Yesterday, @zenandmayhem and I celebrated one year of hosting Soul Collaboration Queen’s Park 🎂🤍

And before you ask… no, we didn’t coordinate our outfits 😂 Apparently a year of hosting together means we’ve started dressing alike too!

When you work for yourself, having people around you who understand what you do makes such a difference. A space to share ideas, ask questions, learn from each other and feel supported.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this first year — whether you’ve joined us once or come back month after month. You’ve helped make this community what it is, and we’re so grateful.

A special thank you to @healingwithzosia for yesterday’s wonderful talk on decoding and releasing trapped emotions 🤍

So lovely to celebrate together — with plenty of conversation and homemade orange cake! 🍊🎂

Our next meeting is 13 November, 10am–12pm, at our new home:
📍24 Lonsdale Road, London, NW6 6RR

Still in Queen’s Park and just a short distance from our previous venue.

If you’re a local wellbeing practitioner and would like to join us, send me a dm. We’d love to welcome you 🤍 by @limitlessselftherapy

Almost six decades of feeling “not enough”.

When this client contacted me, she described being at rock bottom. She felt in debt and stuck in scarcity.

As we worked together, she began to understand where that feeling of “not enough” had started — when she was a little girl. A belief she’d carried for so long that it had rippled through her life.

We explored it together and worked to reframe it.

On our follow-up call, she told me she was setting healthier boundaries. She could say no without feeling guilty. She felt more abundant, and shared that money was coming in.

What stayed with me was how much had changed beyond the issue she originally wanted help with.

In her words:
“It was like someone had finally switched the light on in a room I’d been stumbling around in for years.”

You might recognise the struggle without knowing where it began. Perhaps you keep putting yourself last, feel guilty saying no, or find yourself feeling that nothing you do is ever enough.

You don’t need to understand it all before asking for support.

Today I’m recovering from yesterday’s Oxford half marathon, and thinking about the people who made it so special❤️

The city centre was closed to traffic, and residents were out alongside runners’ friends and families, cheering us on. There were signs, sweets being handed out and so much encouragement along the way.

A few times when I slowed to a walk, another runner came alongside me to cheer me on. Running their own race, but still finding the energy to support someone else.

At one point, someone fell, and those around him stopped to help him up.

Those are the moments that have stayed with me.

16,000 runners, and so many people showing up to support them. It was such a special day.

A reminder of how we’re meant to live — in communities, supporting one another. Encouraging each other when things feel hard. Helping each other up when we fall.

Thank you, Oxford, to the volunteers, everyone cheering from the sidelines and the runners who gave me a boost when I needed it.

My legs are feeling it today( 34,000 steps !!) but my heart is full ❤️ taken in Oxford by @limitlessselftherapy

Her time. Her energy. Her trust in herself.

Every time she says “I don’t mind” when she does, her own needs get pushed a little further down the list.

“Whatever works for you.”
“Of course, I can help.”
“No, honestly, it’s fine.”

But inside, she’s frustrated. Tired. Wishing someone would think about what she wants for a change.

I see this often in my work with women. They’re so used to considering everyone else that when I ask, “What do YOU want?” they have to stop and think.

For some, being agreeable became a way to feel accepted early in life. Years later, saying no still brings guilt—even when they’re already stretched.

Changing that pattern takes practice, especially when your automatic response is to keep everyone happy.

Before your next “I don’t mind”, pause and ask:

“Do I really not mind, or am I worried about what will happen if I say what I want?”

You can start small.
“I’d actually prefer…”
“Let me think about it.”
“I can’t do that today.”

You don’t have to wait until you’re exhausted or resentful before your needs count. 💙

You can be ready for a new chapter and still find yourself holding onto the old one.

In my work with women, I often see this: wanting to move forward, but feeling pulled back by old beliefs, past hurt or the pressure to keep everyone happy.

Sometimes we need space and support to recognise what we’re carrying—and what we’re ready to release.

That’s why the theme of my November Reconnect & Rise retreat is Letting Go. Creating space to reconnect with yourself, move forward and expand. 💙

Join us for hypnosis, breathwork, hot yoga, forest-bathing heart healing, meridian exercises and Pranic Healing, alongside nourishing vegan food and connection with other women.

Letting go feels personal to me too. As I turn 50 next year, I’m reflecting on what I’m ready to release and giving myself permission to expand.

Exciting projects are on the horizon—including a 12-week women’s programme and a women’s retreat by the Red Sea in November 2027.

After two wonderful years of hosting these retreats, this November will be my final one for now, as I make space for this next chapter. I’d love to share this special weekend with you.

You can leave a relationship and still find yourself questioning everything—including yourself.

When you’ve spent years having your feelings dismissed, learning to trust yourself again can take time. Especially when you’re caring for everyone else and your own needs keep slipping to the bottom of the list.

In this week’s Hot Flushes & Higher Self, Bethany Rose shares her experience of gaslighting, betrayal and rebuilding her life with two young children.

We talk about anxiety, survival mode and what helped her begin to feel safe again—from therapy and community to the Christian faith at the heart of her healing.

If you’re beginning again, or recognising how much of yourself you’ve put aside, this conversation is for you. 💙

Sometimes the anger you carry today has a much longer story behind it.

For Maya, that story included years of resentment and a decade without seeing her father.

In her own words, an RTT session was a turning point. It gave her space to explore the anger she felt towards him and other people who had affected her.

Over the following 2–3 years, she describes becoming more in tune with herself, feeling that persistent anger fade, and eventually choosing to reconnect with her father and introduce him to her children.

She also acknowledges that there were still things she needed support with. Her story is personal, and change unfolded over time.

Letting go doesn’t have to mean excusing someone’s behaviour or welcoming them back into your life. You can keep your boundaries while exploring what you no longer want to carry.

I’m grateful to Maya for allowing me to share her experience 💙

If this resonates, you’re welcome to book a free 30-minute Breakthrough Session. We’ll talk about what’s happening for you and whether working together feels right.

At 17, Eilyen was told she might never dance.

At 78, she’s still dancing and actually teaches belly dancing!

After being diagnosed with scoliosis and osteochondrosis, Eilyen was placed in a restrictive corset and faced a future shaped by limitations.

Then an osteopath told her to remove the corset, walk up and down hills and dance.

Within about a year, she had become a professional dancer.

What stayed with me wasn’t that we should ignore medical advice. It was the reminder that one opinion or difficult chapter does not have to become our identity—or define everything that comes next.

So many of us carry beliefs created by what we were once told:

You’re not confident enough.
You’re too sensitive.
It’s too late for you.
You’re not the kind of person who can do that.

But something being repeated does not automatically make it true.

What have you been told about yourself that you’re now ready to question?
