I’m late posting my #NoFunFest footage (I was up in the balcony so it kind of sucks). I tried to make a reel using Instagram. What a clunky mess. 😆 Horrible interface design. The 2026 #NYC No Fun iteration was great. So many unexpected pairings of musicians from different scenes. I could only make it to one night but all the great footage others posted made me feel like I was there. 🌟. by @lin11c

It was so hot and I couldn’t run the machines today because I don’t have A/C. Haven’t had A/C for a few years but now the machines need it. Ordered one “next day” delivery and instead it’s arriving next week. No recourse. Total enshittification. 🫤 So I went to a very nice cooling center. The #NYPL at #42ndstreet. Turns out there are some great exhibits for the #America250 thing including the original #declarationofindependence handwritten by Thomas Jefferson. Last pic is #arthurrussell ‘s harmonica. Kind of funny. So much more!! by @lin11c

6/20/2026 Saturday Birthday afternoon steps got to 16,279 with 14 flights of stairs, but who’s counting. 😆 Such a gorgeous day. Just barely caught this guy’s “The Shining” Jack #tatoo. First time over at #LittleIsland. So crowded. 14th Street between 11th and 10th is a high end bougie mall now? Remember how it used to be? Nasty. So much #construction in #midtownmanhattan. When working on getting some steps in, I discovered a new escalator in front of that hideous JP Morgan Chase building. I took a passageway that said “to Grand Central”. I found myself alone in an endless narrow underground labyrinth that was stifling and full of fumes. It went on forever. I tried one stairway out but it was full of pretty rough looking homeless sleeping. Just as I was getting freaked (what if a criminal showed up) there was an exit right into #grandcentralstation.
