It's still incredibly raw. Still unfinished, but I wanted to post a photo of her completely naked without her armour. I just wanted to preserve her insides. My works are only inspired by nature in the way I allow them to be who they want to be. I don't fuck with their design in the same way you can't mess with nature. I allow my works to be who they want to be and go where they want to go. Come what may.
Lately, I've been daydreaming of glacier caves. The remarkable sculptures that nature offers us are not lost on me. I dream of them often. Maybe too often.
This sculpture sits in my studio and haunts me - teasing me with all her nonsense, mess, and beauty. She will exhibit in my NAKED show in January with @art2muse.
Come and touch her.

If you have watched my stories, you will by know by now that my brother has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. It has thrown my entire family into an absolute spin. What does one do with such news?
How does one even find the strength to get up in the morning and continue life as normal? You don't. You find a new normal. You find new ways of coping. This is my way of coping - creating art.

Although i have postponed my solo exhibition til March next year, I will pour my heart and soul into every piece and come what may from this.

My brother is teaching me what courage and faith looks like, because its easy to have faith when one is not tested, but this is the greatest test of his life and he is passing. Oh boy is he passing. I'm so proud of him.

The community i have built on this page is one of the kindest and loving communities in the world. The messages and genoricity that have come through to me from complete strangers in not lost on me. We are not strangers anymore. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Today we installed a monumental artwork by Lina Kay in a beautiful family home.

Intricately sculptured and textured, The Summit is almost 4 meters high for a double height wall. Lina’s painting is perfect for the contemporary interior.
