I never thought my first surf lesson would lead me here. At first, it was just something new, fun and different. But little did I know it would grow into something so meaningful to me.

Surfing slowly became a part of my life. Not just an activity, but a feeling. A lifestyle that feels like home. One that has taught me how to slow down, to be patient, to live simply — and most importantly, to be present.

It’s helped me reconnect with myself in the most honest way. Not perfectly, but fully. And I’m endlessly grateful I kept paddling back out 🤍 by @linakerrouchi

Enjoy my progress like I DOOO!

What these pictures don’t show: the happy tears, the struggles, the self-reflection, the scary moments, the injuries (yes, plural), the wipeouts or the impact zone, the dopamine rush, my last sesh, and me yelling ‘DID YOU SEE THAT!’ or ”I’M SCARED”.
