Walking into the 61st Venice Biennale with an open heart 🖤 This year’s exhibition, "In Minor Keys," carries a profound weight—curator Koyo Kouoh beautifully shaped its vision before her passing just a month before the opening, leaving a palpable, moving aura of sadness and reverence throughout the show.

The curation centers on three powerful principles:
1️⃣ Rejecting "loud" narratives for lower frequencies.
2️⃣ Amplifying marginalized voices and hidden histories.
3️⃣ Finding joy and transcendence in the shadows (creating true oases of rest).

While the individual artist installations at the Arsenale had some incredibly impactful moments, the national pavilions at the Giardini stole the show for me this year. They felt more cohesive, beautifully weaving together an overarching global conversation about human migration, home, and belonging, while crossing over into deeply personal themes of fragility and pushing past comfort zones.

It’s an exhibition that demands you slow down, tune into the quiet tones, and feel the emotional dimensions of art.

Something new has been happening lately — a new series of Wearable Art Pendants.
Each one is a small original piece, completely unique, with its own character and attitude.
I love how they came together — distinctive, individual, and just right.
If one speaks to you, DM me before it flies. ✨
