I made this to celebrate your 11th birthday, but little did I know it’d be your last day with me. I wish I would’ve had all the money and time in the world so I could’ve spent every last bit on helping you get better. Everyone says I at least got you to your 11th birthday, but I wanted to get you better. We both did our best though, and I’m happy you’re at peace and with your mom and dad.

I don’t know when I’ll stop feeling so empty like this. A part of me doesn’t want to, because life is a little emptier without you. For now, though, I’ll focus on appreciating every second I have left with Diamond while you run and play with your parents in heaven. My beautiful, mischievous little Angel 🤍
