This Hispanic Heritage Month, the theme is Unidos, Somos Más; Together, we are more.

It's a reminder that our strength doesn't come from standing alone, but from showing up for one another, sharing our stories, and building community wherever we land. We asked four colleagues from our Somos Lincoln Business Resource Group what that means to them, and what they shared moved us:

💛 Alina found her unidos moment at a Financial Empowerment Workshop during her first year at Lincoln; a space where Hispanic and Latino experiences were recognized, celebrated, and supported.

✨ Edith described belonging as the freedom to show up as her whole self; proud to be Latina, proud to share her culture, and open to learning about yours.

🌍 Gaby reflected on ten years since leaving Puerto Rico with two suitcases and big dreams, and how finding and building community in every new place has made her stronger.

🫔 Rosemary shared how making pasteles with her family, where everyone owns their part of the line, from the littlest kids to the elders, shaped how she builds and leads teams today.

Lorie is our Eagles’ Home Opener Giveaway winner, and her story is a reminder that legacy isn’t something you wait to build. You’re living it right now.

We asked Lorie what financial legacy means to her, and she replied:

“Financial Legacy to me is two parts – one is building wealth that is passed down generations, and the other is the real time/real life education a parent can give their children on how to build wealth. 💵🦅💚”

On game day, we heard first-hand how the legacy Lorie is living is already bearing fruit – her 16-year-old daughter just bought her first car, with her own money!
