Thank you @rnzonline for the beautiful article on my art and exhibition @heidelberger_kunstverein

It found me waking up on a Wednesday morning in London, planning to crash the Serpentine Galleries Summer Party with a friend. So in a way it was a very artistic day ;)

Funny how we grow evervesently into new versions of ourself, yet when one looks at childhood pics you can already see character traits/passions one still hones as an adult. Pics from acting in elemenary school as Mogli in „The Junglebook“ and from age 4 and 8. PS: Tried to find some pics were no other kids were on, or identifiable.

From the movie « Requiem for a Dream » by Darren Aronovsky. My first roles when I started to pursue acting were a spiritual prostitute, a 60 years old woman addicted to diet pills including amphetamiines and a young girl in a relationship bonding over sardistic selfharm

I always liked the most challenging characters and the bravery needed and the places to go in order to embody them truthfully.

Lense Test at Night for “Mädelegabel” after working the breadwinning kind during the day 🪽What is it? We tested lenses and cameras on how the make the footage look in Close-Up, Totale and Movement Shots.
Decided for an 3:4 aspect ratio versus 16:9 as it just makes you more intentional in terms of creating the frame. And big lover of the old telelense Moritz imported from Canada.

Acting has always been my big passion.
Creating Fine Art is my nature, but acting challenges corners in my soul, art never could. It challenges to face yourself, your memories, dark corners, shadow character traits and limitless versions in order to embody a role truthfully. That‘s what I love about it.
