is natural birthing expensive?

I’ve given birth naturally 3 times & I’m going to breakdown the cost of each

I encouraged all mothers to consider looking into natural birthing & in the end do what’s best for you & your family

one of the big questions i get is regarding the price, its must be expensive right?

while natural birthing at a birthing center can most likely be covered by most insurances, using a a midwife at home can cost around $8k before insurance

the average hospital birth in Florida is around $30k before insurance & $12k after insurance

the choice was easy was for us

It’s officially been 10 days since the arrival of our “absolute unit” baby boy, Rain.

We are in love & couldn’t be happier.

Natural birthing has been a big part of our lives, it’s helped change our perspective on a lot of things and with this we only hope to inform other mamas of their options.

We’ve been blessed to have our last 2 sons in the comfort of our own home, after the sudden closure of a local birthing center.

I don’t see myself as some bad ass super hero for having an unmedicated birth and I’ll never have anything negative to say about a healthy baby born under different circumstances , I just know that woman are incredible & we’re made for this. We just need proper guidance, love & the courage to lean into our strengths as women to venture out into the natural birthing realm.

We’ve always had lots of interest from friends and families regarding the matter, so what better way to showcase our experience.

growing up as first gen american cambodian, I feel a bit out of touch with my khmer roots

I hope to learn more to pass along the culture to our kids
