Thrilled to speak at the @amgenbiotech Obesity Symposium about the next era of obesity care.

We’re at one of those rare moments when science, technology, and consumer expectations are converging at the same time.

The two biggest breakthroughs happening in healthcare right now are AI and GLP-1s.

Technology is bringing healthcare to your kitchen table. And GLP-1s are changing people’s health, and therefore, their lives. These innovations give people more control and empowerment to become the Chief Medical Officer of their own health.

Technology has simplified and personalized so many parts of our lives.

It’s time we demand that kind of simplicity and immediacy from healthcare too.

Thank you to @lynn_nyse of the @nyse and @flotus @melaniatrump for hosting the inaugural IMPERIA event, a forum where powerful women come together to move capital, shape policy, and build side by side.

It was incredible to be in a room full of women empowering other women.

“When I first decided I wanted to get into advertising sales. I was told it was very rare, almost impossible, for a woman to become a salesperson. It just wasn’t a thing then. That didn’t deter me. It just made me zigzag in different ways to get what I wanted.

To be honest, the more I progressed in my career, the more I had a mentality of breaking boundaries, breaking the glass ceiling in different ways, and being an inspiration for others to follow.

Early in my broadcasting days, I was instrumental in getting the company to change its maternity leave plan. Back then, there weren’t a lot of women in the room. I was pregnant with my daughter, and I was very cognizant of the moment.“
